Hi everyBody,

Cleared SCBCD.
studying by articles, notes in the internet was
, without a precise objective, Time - Losing.

It was HF EJB ,reduced the time studying, considerably gives me better focus on objectives.

Thanks to all of You, Thank You to Kathy&Bert.

Hi all.
I am using Weblogic 5.1 and from file properties I have configured DB connection pool .
The problem is:
If I start The server and at that momment
can't established the connection DB(e.s a DB server problem), This situation will be along for all the time still another restart of server.
What I need is to establish the connection without restarting the server.
Does'it exist any way to resolve this problem?
thanks in advance,
ciao!

Anybody out there with a possible solution?

Hi all,
I am going to write an application,
which will transfer pdf files from a server and saves them to a client.
This application will be scheduled to start periodically.
At the begining I thought to use a client application using URL calling a servlet to the server, but I'm not so happy for that kind of solution.
Does anybody has any advice as to do using RMI , or any other solution client server ?
thanks in advance,
ciao!

Dear all!
my problem is to pass a file(cripted) which resides in one server to another server.
I wanted to know which would to be the best way to pass it?
At the momment I am using a URL object that calls a servlet passing the Stream that contains the file.
I have tried to use two servlets(passing the stream to the response of the caller and taking it from the request of the other one, but I have got problems with the headers.
thank you!

Can someone please help me to understand differences between:
getConfig().getServletContext().getRequestDispatcher("pathToServlet");
and request.getRequestDispatcher("pathToServlet");
..................
and differences between forward(request,response)and sendRedirect(url);
thanks in advance!

if we got this example:
class A{
private void a(){}
}
abstract class B extends A{
abstract protected void a();
}
class C extends B{
public void a(){}
}
does method a in class C overrides method a in class A ?

Compiling a java file from consol del WindowsNT and I observed a dubious case. We know that JAVA is caseSensitive, but for my first time I see Not. for compiling I was using javac
del jdk1.2.2.
I took the same result compiling with different file Names like:
javac ..\serverclasses\Stampa_creaTitles.java
javac ..\serverclasses\Stampa_CreatiTles.java
javac ..\serverclasses\stampa_creatitles.java
happens No!?
thanks!

I was trying declaration of char primitives , and I noted something strange: if I comment this line of code :
like: //char mm = '\u'; I have always compilation error (illegal escape character) even the line of code is commenteted .I can repair that comment adding another escape inside character asignements .what do you think ?
