Your comment doesn't make sense. Did you even consider that a certified developer w/Oracle skills and a BS can't get a job?
Congratulations! Thanks for the info. I have one question that would really help me gauge how much more I need to study.....How helpful was the practice test offered by sun? Did it reflect the difficulty level and scope of the exam? Thanks, Brandon [This message has been edited by Brandon Hill (edited August 04, 2001).]
I passed partI with an 85%. Description of test similar to previous topics. Stuff not mentioned from previous posts: Scenarios described are of a general nature. Some ambiguities that I wish would be removed. Jaworski's book( and John notes - seem to be largely taken from Jaworski) is good for legacy connectivity. Know privileges of untrusted classes. Know clustering overview. Learned a lot from book learning, only experience is from a small sample project I did. Studied 2 weeks about 2 hrs a day. Have 1/2 year of java exp and 1 yr programming exp. Am SCJP and have completed SCJD project(but it needs to be turned in). I studied too much detail in some areas such as jms and security.
