Anyone have any thoughts on good interview questions regarding J2EE tech with emphasis in EJB, servlets, JSP or any other relevant areas.
Thanks,
Brandon

Your comment doesn't make sense. Did you even consider that a certified developer w/Oracle skills and a BS can't get a job?

Is a cover letter important for technical resumes. I really haven't looked much for a job.

Congratulations! Thanks for the info. I have one question that would really help me gauge how much more I need to study.....How helpful was the practice test offered by sun? Did it reflect the difficulty level and scope of the exam?
Thanks,
Brandon

Do the practice tests(both free and paid)offered by Sun accurately reflect the exam?
Thanks,
Brandon

Thanks all. This site with everyone's great contributions was extremely helpful in getting certified.

The jms info needed is just the basics, such as pub/sub and when it's appropriate to use jms in a given arch. Amit's page has all the needed info and links http://www.stormpages.com/jnagal/index.html
Networking info is also just the basics and can be accessed http://www.certificationguru.com/
I passed partI with an 85%. Description of test similar to previous topics.
Stuff not mentioned from previous posts:
Scenarios described are of a general nature. Some ambiguities that I wish would be removed. Jaworski's book( and John notes - seem to be largely taken from Jaworski) is good for legacy connectivity. Know privileges of untrusted classes. Know clustering overview.
Learned a lot from book learning, only experience is from a small sample project I did. Studied 2 weeks about 2 hrs a day. Have 1/2 year of java exp and 1 yr programming exp. Am SCJP and have completed SCJD project(but it needs to be turned in). I studied too much detail in some areas such as jms and security.
