Hi Friends,
I m using Grinder to loadtest my application. Problem is I recorded a scenario and while running the same script with more users, I m facing session issues (I learnt that grinder treats each request as separate request and my application use session variables). I m new to jython/python and didnt find any solution on google. please help.

thanks in advance.

Hi Techies,
Problem: I want to intercept every request and response and check for some characters for their absence(to prevent cross site scripting). the problem is if I find any such character I want to throw some exception. I created a wrapper class extending HttpServletResponseWrapper class and I want to configure error pages if I find some exception in any methods that I m overriding like getParameters etc. and then I will use this class as request in Filter class. but I m unable to configure error page in such situation or even handle exceptions coz the signature of methods like getParameter() isnt handling exceptions.

Please guide with better approach or links I m missing in this implementation.
TIA

Hi Techies, I have developed a Struts based application on Websphere. but after security testing(which was done by third party), i came to know it is prone to cross site scripting. Can anybody tell me what's the best approach to fix that in Struts based application.
I have done 'googling' and came to know about filters etc, but I trust javaranch for better and faster results. please guide or provide pointers to solve this.

TIA

hi all,
I have got a condition where I have to pass a string to a web service. ealier this service was accepting parameter as CSV file but now that's taking that parameter as String. I have to pass the String with the condition that size of String cant be greater than 80 MB. I know this is bad design but cant think of any other option at present(due to time constraint and contract with the web service).
My question is how can we decide the size of String doesn't cross 80 MB(It can be somewhat less for that matter). I hope that is based on JVM allocation of memory. but I want that independant of that. I searched internet but couldn't find any pointer towards that.

Please help. thanks in advance.
