1) as far as your diagrams are UML 2 complaint don't worry about the tools, you need to export these diagrams as images.
2) as i know there is no time gap between part 1 and 2-3 but i don't think you want to be idle for 12 months before sitting for the part 2, but when buy the voucher for part 2 you need to complete both part 2 and 3 within 6 months.
3) you can check JEE5/JEE6 tutorials from Oracle and just search the topic you'll easily get the information.
find the nearest Person VUE center and check with them on your exam voucher validity and scheduling.
I'm not sure about a new study guide, but there are lot of books on JEE6 so you can get a basic idea on whats new JEE6, with regards to the study guides you have in hand, EJB is the main concern as i know, apart from Cade's book other books got the old version of EJB 2.1 but other content is very good, my suggestion is, better to get an idea on the main changes from JEE5 to JEE6 in the exam context, for the new changes use EE6 tutorial or some books and for other areas you can still use existing study guides.
which exam are you planing on JEE5 or JEE6, everybody prefers Cade and Sheil but it's more like an outline, for EE6 there are new books, but all these books are good, i used them all.
my advice is if you don't have much experience of major areas like security, massaging first do some research perhaps start up tutorials and gain the basic idea, then go for the exam book, this will give you more control over the exam.
The exam is now called OCMEA, the latest is JEE6 go through this link, Oracle JEE6
you do not need any perquisites as for other Java exams, but this exam mandates a prescribed course by Oracle, even with passing all the three steps you will not be officially certified unless you take this course.
Thanks

yes SSO seems complex, let say I choose some other JAAS based strategy, my problem is do i need to show these Authentication/Authorization related members in my class diagram or is it enough to mention
my strategy in assumptions.
The assignment says about a customer creating an account and doing operations through the account, my question is in a scenario
like this do I need to include classes/members in the class diagram related to authentication , authorization , Single SignOn or is it enough to
put what strategy I use in assumption, and should I include Auth/SSO related operations in other diagrams too ?
my assignment deadline is this June 10, can i take the mandatory training even after assignment deadline, seems like a joke training after assignment but I'm out of the country,
i need to submit the assignment before the due date and take my training after that as it is mandated, is it possible.
