Hi,

In an insert statement I want to insert some data from another table.
I used select query inside the insert query, but the database gives error.
I tried this in MySQL.

insert into t1(currency,price) values('USD',
select price from t2 where id='10'
)

Can anyone correct this query.

Thanks in advance..

Consider the following XML

<CarInfo>
<Type>W</Type>
<CarVnd>ZE</CarVnd>
</CarInfo>

I want to Query the <CarInfo> tags which contains <CarVnd>ZE</CarVnd>

<CarInfo> is repeated so many times with different <carVnd> tags.

Can anyone give me the XPath query.
That I know.
I asked that if the same forward is defined in <action> and <global-forward> and is there any way to by pass the forward in <action>

For an interview, the interviewer asked this. For that only I asked this.

This is Ok, I know.
But I want to know is there any way to skip the forward in <action>

Hi,

I had declared 2 forwards in the same name. 1 in <action> tag and other in <global-forwards>. But at a certain context can I skip the forward in the <action> tag so that it forwards the page defined in <global-forwards>
Is there any way for that?

<global-forwards>
<forward name="searching" path="searching_common.jsp"/>
</global-forwards>

<action path="/myURL" scope="session" type="myAction">
<forward name="searching" path="/searching.jsp"/>
</action>

Hi,
I had tags like

<IndexNum>6</IndexNum>
<IndexNum>1</IndexNum>

I need to take these tags and sort according to the indexNum. Is there any way. Now I am using //IndexNum for getting all IndexNum.

Thanks in Advance.
Yes, I want to progressively display the items. Like,

Contacting Vendor................
Validating CreditCard............
Calculating Amount..............
Retriving Amount...............
.............
..............

Here, each process take some time(about 20 sec)

In what way I can do this easily.

Is there any way to meet the requirement. By using any header entry or by setting minimum cache or buffer or like that.

Hi,
I am trying to send data partially to the browser. So I use flush() method in PrintWriter Object. This will work fine when the data to be send is more than some 100 characters. But if it 5-10 chars the flush is not sending the data at that moment.

Here if stringToPrint conatains more than 100 characters it is sending the data at that moment itself. But otherwise it is sending it later.

Any Idea about his.
Thanjs in Advace.
