Thanks TSang. I decided to continue with V5 exam of part 2 and 3.

So Once I complete part 2 & 3 of V5 and then when I apply for upgrade for V6, Do I need to still take those exams for 1, 2 & 3 for V6?

Please clarify.

I have passed part 1 for OCMJEA before an year, but due to time constraints and project pressure, I could not continue with Part 2 and 3 for OCMJEA 5. Now can you please clarify my questions below.

1. Is OCMJEA 5 still valid to take? Is there any date that it will expire?

2. Or Is it good to take OCM JEA 6 only? Is Sylabus got changed a lot when compared to OCMJEA 5?

Hi Ranch Team,

I am preparing for OCM JEA Part 2. So for UML - Sequence diagram I am using Star UML version 5. With that for sequence diagram , when I drag in an object , I dont see any life line created along with it.

Also I am unable to connect one object to another object using any messages.

Please guide.

I am preparing for PART 2 of OCM JEA 5. Started learning UML using STAR UML. Just tried some sample class diagrams. When I tried to save that diagram as HTML there is no option to save it in HTML format.

It allows only in UML format. How to convert that into .HTML extension...

Please guide.

Thanks Anu. I am also planning after 2 or 3 months only. Any way , I will start preparing slowly may be an hour daily. Any guidance from you for part 2 is really appreciated.

I cleared part 1 few back back. I have a doubt whether I can do part 2 after 5 months. I have not yet downloaded for part 2 still. Just need to take a break for 5 months after part 1 as I have to concentrate on few urgent projects.

So my question is , can I opt for Part 2 after 5 months? After 5 months if I download for part 2, is there any time line that I need to submit my design ?

Hi,

We are using Web Based Application uisng Struts 1.1 with Dyna Action Forms. In this, one of our requirement is to get one date from table, set it in DynaAction Form and display in front end.Here, the Date format in the database table is in the format yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.SSS. (back end we use is SQLSERVER 2005)

But whereas the date format which Dynaction form stores is YYYY-MM-DD so the time portion is cut out.

Struts-config we declared Date as follows.

<form-property name="dateInserted" type="java.lang.String" />
How Can I set the entire yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.SSS value from the database into my DynaActionform property?

Immediate help in this regard is appreciated.
