Hi,

did you check your values passed to "drawOval()"?

I use a Thread to set values and repaint a JPanel and there isn't problem. Are you sure what the oval with width=1 and height=1 isn't there?

Hi,

At firts, you don't need "import com.example.model.*;" in TestString class. compile your code without that import.

If TestString was compile well, you can call to javac like:

"C:\JSPproject\beerV1\src> javac -classpath . com\example\model\*.java "

Hi, You have to put the absolute path of the bin directory (in my case "C:\Archivos de programa\Java\jdk1.5.0\bin") in an environment varible called "path"; In windows have to check the system32 directory, if there are java.exe and javac.exe you have to move out them.

Hi, the socket is closed because in the finally block(in main method) you are closing the socket. When you start the Read and Write, the main method follow his execution and close the socket in the finally block. The program is alive because the Write thread isn't dead.
