You have to buy "SCJP 1.5 exam guide by Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates". It is a very good book.

Lot of Mock exams are available in net. you can workout for as many as exams as possible.

eg. http://faq.javaranch.com/view?ScjpMockTests

All the Best.
Ok Sheelpa.

I am going to give the exam on next month end. currently i am reading K&B book. it it very interesting.

Actually i have taken one mock exam with out reading the whole book.
That is the bad experience for me. i am planning to take mock exam after completing the whole book.

I will try to take more mock exam before going to the actual exam.

Thanks for your information.

i was watching your post in SCJP forum, but you are in the confution state to take the exam.

In the mock exams you did 60-70%.It is easy passing score.

Finally you did it...

Congradulations more for your success.

Give me some sugessions about your actual exam which are the area you feel harder.

All the best for next level in java.

yes Jesper,

i got it.

Thanks
As per my understanding literal means value which is to be assigned to the respective char ot int etc...

Normally for char it will agree for unsigned 16 bit range(0 to 65535).
My doubt is i am assigning number literal to a char...see the above code.

While compliing the code no error is coming.

result is ?.
i have a doubt in charater literal.

if i am using the literal which is assigned to char, what will be the impact.

For example:

char c=(char)897; //in K&B book specfies it legal

this code is compiling fine. printing as "?"(question mark).

How can i use the literal which should be assigned in char.

Shankar
As per the try block you are returning "result" to main method.

Only you are returning this result value to string "result" in main method.
After assignment of the return statement finally block will be executed.

So in the finally block no changes coming for the result string. bz it is returning try block result.

Shankar
Thanks Fedry.

I will try to buy this book.
Actually i am preparing from some other books which is not good.

i am planning to write exam on next month.

Thanks for your quick reply...
