Maybe consult the server admin console. I'm not sure whether it overrides whatever setting you put in setMaxInactiveInterval, but you can try see if it works to adjust it there. Go to Applications -> Enterprise applications -> yourEARProject -> session management to find the server setting.

I guess IBM doesn't upgrade/support WSAD anymore.

A collegue of mine has a serious startup issue with RSA 7. He gets this error message when trying to load RSA on XP:

If anyone has any idea what this is about or where to start troubleshooting I'd be thankful.

Actually, this was due to the html validator. I just turned it off, our project is to old to enable strict html validation

Hi,

I recently upgraded my RSA to the latest version. I noticed there seems to be a stricter jsp-validator in this update as I now get some 100 jsp errors. I think I can refactor the code to solve about 90% of the errors, however some of them can't be fixed.

Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust these errors to warnings? Or to ingore them in some way?

Cheers,
Martin

Hi Aru,
Welcome to the Ranch!

I think Kelvin replied to this in another thread.. A quick search and I found this one this one for instance.
Where I live we have the same issues with the buses, they're not reliable. At the same time, we've got worse problems with the train. It is delayed 2 min or more 95% of the time.

The tube around here is actually on time, but I suppose it is because it doesn't compete with any other transport-wagons on its designated tracks.

Hi,

I had quick look at the index of your book. I noticed you had a chapter regarding the Struts, JSF and Spring framework amongst others. Do you compare these frameworks in your book? By that I mean do you specify their pros/cons or tell the reader which one is better to use when certain requirements are present?

Best of luck with your book release,

Thanks for the quick reply, Cristophe!

As I'm new to Javascript I reckon that these two libraries would be really suitable for me because of their ease of use. Thus, I'll first see if I win the book, and if not I'll seriously consider buying it.

Cheers
I just recently started using protoype in my web-app and I am completely new to its features. For one thing, the form-autocomplete is a feature I'd really like to implement. However, I guess I would need some knowledge on Ajax as well in order to achieve this feature, so I was basically just wondering whether your book provides some examples on this and if so, whether it has Java examples to go with it as well?

Good luck with your book release!
Thanks Brian

I wasn't aware of that page. That document will be useful for me as well, as I'm planning to upgrade a server within the next few months.

Very cool, thanks for sharing.

I'll most definitely have a go at one of those problems any day soon..!

I'll second this question (instead of asking the same in a new thread)
