Hi Srinivas,
You need to enable "Serve Servlets by classname". Open the war file in AAT & click on the "IBM Extensions" tab, and enable the serve servlets by class name option.
Another way is by defining a servlet mapping in your deployment descriptior.

Filters are not part of the syllabus. I dont remember any questions related to filters in the exam.

Also 4.0 is 100% J2EE complaint.
It supports Servlet 2.2 & JSP 1.1.
