I've 5 yrs exp in Java programming. My current salary is 9LPA. In coming appraisal(March 08), I expect 10% hike in worst case. I am currently in US on B1 for short term.

Is it worth considering for H1B? Will I be able to save significantly more in US than my indian salary? How much do people on H1 at my level save per month at max?

BTW, I am 26 yrs old & not married. So I think I still have time to take chances.

Any type of career advice is welcome.
