what is the difference when
1.a web application uses a direct JDBC connection to interact with the RDBMS.
2.a web applciation uses a datasource functionality provided by the application server to interact with the RDBMS.

Please let me know the advantages and the disadvantages.

attributes cannot have minoccurs or max occurs.these are only for elements.
they have 'use' attribute as occurence constarints.
refer xml 1.0 spec for clarification

first code fragment is incorrect because by using wsdl import we import schema.hence as per R2001 it is incorrect(as per my understanding..i 2 dont know my understanding is right or wrong)

second & third code fragment still no idea.

R2001 A DESCRIPTION MUST only use the WSDL "import" statement to import another WSDL description.

R2803 In a DESCRIPTION, the namespace attribute of the wsdl:import MUST NOT be a relative URI.

R2002 To import XML Schema Definitions, a DESCRIPTION MUST use the XML Schema "import" statement.

R2003 A DESCRIPTION MUST use the XML Schema "import" statement only within the xsd:schema element of the types section.

R2004 In a DESCRIPTION the schemaLocation attribute of an xsd:import element MUST NOT resolve to any document whose root element is not "schema" from the namespace "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema".

the following examples are given to explain the above rules.please explain me the below examples and they are related to which above rules.

Hi Guys,
i have registered for the beta exam on nov 5th and scheduled it on 18th in an NIIT Centre in india.Today i got the reply that it is not possible to give the exam because that they told that they are not able to downlaod the exam and when they are contacted their helpdesk they told that the exam date is barred.

Pleaes let me know any other faced such issue.Is it poosible to schedule it now in 'Chennai- India'.
