Hi All,

Thank you so much for the all compliments,I am really feeling more happy now after seeing the replies from you guy's.

1.Well read any one good book best is HFSJ because all the books tries to convey same information but in different way try to understand the concept than mugging,
so this should not be a problem. I read HFSJ 1.4 and gave SCWCD 1.5
2.After reading the concept for the day, write it down in your own words in points, this will be very use full for last day revision

3. once read and documented and understood, convert your understanding in to code.try to play around with the code in as many ways as you can think of to get real time
experience of your understanding; now you well get to know any gaps in your understanding and actual behavior.

4. only after doing this start with free online mock exams. after completing each exam read the correct and wrong once both.if you are not clear with some thing post it
here and discuss it and only then move to next exam.

5. Once you are done with all the free online mocks purchase Enthuware Very usefull and close to real exam. repeat the step 4 here for each exam dont be in a hurry
to complete the exams. Dont keep on giving the exams continuesly try to revise the points and reread the concept you are not clear after each test.
Scores on the Enthuware and real exams remained almost same for me.

6. Try to show progress in the scoring for each test and try to maintain the consistency.Even after this while giving the exam remain calm, relaxed and focused otherwise scoring will definitely go down even after following all the above points.

7.To purchase Enthuware from india you can go to this URL webpage and follow the steps given.

Hope this helps,You need to have patiences and give sufficient time for your self; try to enjoy the work than pushing your self. This steps are from my own experience
and understanding they may be very lengthy and pain full but very use full in preparation

Thanks

Hi,

So what option b is trying to tell is that.destroy() will wait only for service() threads only and not for any other.

Thanks
Hi,

Assuming that the Servlet Container has just called the destroy() method of a servlet instance, which of the following statements are correct?

a.init() method of this instance has been called.
b.There are no container threads running over this instance's service method.
c.All threads created by this servlet are done.

I selected a and c.But the answer given is a and b; what is the difference between options b and c?

Thanks
Yes,

Its true, only GET and POST are valid for HTML.rest all of them are meaning less and will be taken as default that is GET.I checked it by putting request.getMethod() it does print GET method for DELETE,OPTIONS,TRACE,....

Thanks for the info it cleared my doubt.

Thanks

Hi,

Basically we have to modify the body contents of the tag.

SimpleTagSupport Do not have any ways to gain access to tag's body contents
so we cant achive this through Simple Tags.

In case of Classic Tags Yes we can do this.by using Eval_BODY_BUFFERED return from doStartTag(). where the tag handler should extend BodyTagSupport class which will give you setBodyContent() and doInitBody().

Thanks
It Says,

Basic Weak
Digest Strongest
Client-Cert Strong
Form Weakest
Hi,

Following Question from Enthuware mock exam.

Which of the following is NOT a technique used for maintaining sessions?

a.HttpSession objects
b.HttpSessionActivationListener

I selected a but the answer says b why?. b is used in session migration which is also a type of session management but answer says b.

Thanks
Hi,

I have a servlet which is having only doGet(...); in the form when i specify POST and submit it, it will throw me an exception saying POST() is not supported by this URL. When i specify any other Http methods like PUT,DELETE,OPTIONS,TRACE in the form method ,it will not throw any exception
instead it gives behaviour of doGET(). Why exceptions are not thrown for these methods like POST method.

I have checked the HttpServlet java code there is a default implementation for HEAD,OPTIONS and TRACE.for GET,POST,PUT,DELETE the implementation is same that is it will send an error message back to client using res.sendError(int,String); method. So at least for PUT and DELETE methods this should throw the exception.

Thanks

Hi,

From enthuware mock exam, any updates on this.

Thanks
Hi,

Based on the increasing strengths arrange the authentication mechanisms

a. Form < Basic < Client-cert < Digest
b. Basic < Form < Digest < Client-Cert

I selected a. based on the HFSJ page 648; but the answer says b.

Thanks
Hi,

Following Question from Enthuware mock exam.

You are using a tag library with prefix "generator", which supports a tag named "random". This tag generates a
random number and sets it to a variable named "value". Which of the following will output this value in the page?

a.<generator:random><%=value%></generator:random>
b.None of the above.

I selected b. but the answer says a. I think this is wrong if a has to be correct; then in the tag handler the variable should be set as a attribute like pageContext.setAttribute("value",value);.Is that correct?

I did pageContext.setAttribute("value",value); in my tag handler and used
<generator:random>${value}</generator:random> this works fine.but again
<generator:random><%=value%></generator:random> this gives an error saying sriptlet invalid i have proper entries in the TLD JSP and scriptlets are not disabled but still i get this error.

Thanks
