I installed Iplanet web server 6.0sp2 on win2K with the default options and it created a admin server and a machine-name server. When I login to the admin console(http://localhost:8888) I see the machine-name server is ON. However I am unable to access it via http://localhost??? Is there anything missing?

Check that you use the proper User/Passwd (case-sensitive) for Java Mail. Also you can turn the debug flag on and get more information the failure.

Being a BEA employee I got to take the WLS6.0 beta certification exam around 5 weeks ago. They are in the process of finalizing the 6.0 exam. From what I have heard it is similar to 5.1. The edocs.bea.com was the most useful resource for me.

You have to download the jar files for Java MAIL and put them in your classpath. Search this Topic for "Java Mail" and you will find the details.

I tried that and I am still getting the NoSuchProvider Exception. For configuring the outlook I use smtp.xxxx.com as the SMTP host. I tried that one too. I scanned the newsgroup for solutions but couldn't find any. Could it be that there is some thing I am missing in the code.
Thanks

I am testing a simple Java Mail code from a JSP on a unix machine. I am getting NoProviderException. Is there a command that I can issue to find the SMTP host?
Thanks

Weblogic is the Leading App Server in the market with around 60% of the market share.

I am developing JSP's for a retail application. One of the things that they have asked me is to integrate a processing logic on an independant html page. I have never done this.
I would have to pass some paramters so that they serve as input on that html page. Then I have to somehow retrieve the results of the submit action on that page. The results will be used in my jsp.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

My client is using a NetScape Web Server and WebLogic App Server. For security and performance reasons he wants to redirect JSP traffic to the Web Server. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it possible to store JSP's on the Web Server and make them work with the APP server?
