a and b refer to the same object Color.red. Therefore, a == b returns true. Correct me if I am wrong.

I may also consider finding a job in Canada. Do you know the average salary compared to the US? Also, do you know if I am authorized to work if I am a green card holder?
Thank you.

That's correct.
int i is 00000000 00000000 00010011 10001000 in binary and is truncated to 10001000 (byte b).
It's a negative number because the first leading number is 1.
By Two's Complement, 10001000 = 01111000 in positive number.
01111000 is 120 so the result is -120.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
I have just passed my SCJP exam and I am about to start studying for the develper exam. Can anyone suggest a good strategies and a few good books to start with?
Also, I have noticed that SCJP forum has 49,000 posts while developer forum has only 4000 posts. I am really curious about the difference. Is it worth to take the exam or it's just too difficult to pass?
Thanks a lot!
Joanne

Hi,
I just passed my SCJP exam today and I want to thank all of your for help. It was definitely not a easy exam and I was very nervous for the first 15 questions.
RHE and Exam Cram books helped me a lot. I went thru the RHE book and used Exam Cram as a reference. I have went thru about 15 free mock exams online. I have to agree that the questions are very similar to the ones in Marcus Greens site.
Thanks again for your help and good luck to whoever will take it in the future.

It will compile after you take out the "public" in front of the inner class.
