Hi All,

I am developing a web service. I am wondering if i want to write Junit test cases for my service then whether i need to generate client and test web service methods or i can directly test web service methods by using instannce of impl class.

Hi All,

I have an xhtml page which has

a) <h:selectOneRadio id="NT" onfocus="changeColor(this)"
onblur="changeBack(this)"
valueChangeListener="#{sessMgr.ntLoginChangeListener}"
value="#{sessMgr.windowsAuthentication}" tabindex="1">
<f:selectItem id="item1" itemValue="Yes" itemLabel="Yes"
itemDisabled="false" />
<f:selectItem id="item2" itemValue="No" itemLabel="No" />
<a4j:support event="onclick" ajaxSingle="true"
reRender="userNameLabel,userNameText,passwordLabel,passwordText"></a4j:support>
</h:selectOneRadio>

b) <h:commandButton value="Login"
image="/images/marhaba/submit.jpg" action="#{sessMgr.login}"
tabindex="5" />

both are enclosed in h:form.

Issue is whenever there are two browser instance rendering the same page at same time, neither the valuechangelistener of radio button nor command button working. if i close both browser and access this page in new browser, both of them are working fine.

Any pointer to issue and solution is highly apprecitaed.

Punit,

I appreciate your response but when i saw the jboss sso link that you have shared across, it is clearly mentioned that all applications should share same domain which is not the same in my case.

What i am looking to achieve is same i.e. SSO and also session sync up between various applications for a given user at a given time.

Please let me know if any thing else i need to tell you.

Hi All,

There are two different web app A and B running on different linux box+jboss.

A is our main application and User is getting authenticated before he/she can access the application.

webpages from application B are being shown in application A using iframe :

<iframe src="url_webpage_app_B" />

Problem is since both application are running on different server and differnt machine how can we share session

and seesion attribute in both application like:

1)how to authenticare user on app B when he is trying to access it from app A after being authenticated to access app A.

2) Also how to manage session timeout on both application in sync means if session is timeout on app A , it should be timed out at app B also.

i am using jsf, richface and jboss.

Howdy Ranchers,

I have a requirement which involves reading a mailbox on microsoft exchange server. I know micrsoft exchange server supports POP3 protocol.
But i am not able to figure it out how to read message in inbox folder of the mailbox.

what all information i know is :

servername: http://<server>/exchange
username: <username>
password: <pwd>

I even checked webDav implementation but did not find anything about reading mail from mailbox.

Any pointer or sample code to achieve this would be helpful.

Howdy Ranchers,

I have to write a java client class for sharepoint web services in my organisation.
Sharepoint implements kerberos(which i have no idea about).

Problem is this class needs to authenticate corporate users already looged in corporate network.
So i will not be able to pass user id and password to get authenticated to access sharepoint web services.

Is there any way considering sharepoint implements kerberos how to write service client which gets authenticated and access the web service.

Hi all,

There is component for which value is oftype Hashmap in backingbean.

<h:outputText value="#{bean.map}" id="maptext" />

Now i am changing value for one key in Hashmap and When i am rerendering the component outputtext but it is still showing the unchanged map.
But in backing bean map is getting altered.

Any pointer why is this happening.

Thanks for the reply.

But problem is there are numerous menuItem in my page and the way you are proposing , it involves to have menustyle attribute in managedbean for each item which may run into say 50.

Also at one time this style needs to be applied to only one menuitem. so i went with this approach.

Can we have any other pointer.

Hi All,

I notice a bizarre scenarion which is :

In my page xhtml page following is the component

<rich:menuItem id="menu_home" value="Home" actionListener="#{menuBean.onclickMenu}" disabled="#{menuBean.homeActive}">
<f:attribute value="pages/home.jsf" name="menuUrl"></f:attribute>
</rich:menuItem>

in backing bean in onclickmenu method i am settting the styleClass of this component but it is not getting reflected in the page.

public void onclickMenu(ActionEvent event) {

Object obj = event.getSource();
if ((obj instanceof HtmlMenuItem)) {
HtmlMenuItem item = (HtmlMenuItem)obj;
item.setStyleClass("activeLinkMenu")
}
// rest of code related to navigation
}
this styleClass is not getting applied to menuItem, even if i am using following <a4j:support event="onclick" reRender="menu_home"/> wrapped between menu item.

But when i am writing menuitem like this

<rich:menuItem id="menu_home" value="Home" actionListener="#{menuBean.onclickMenu}" styleClass="activeLinkMenu"
disabled="#{menuBean.homeActive}">
<f:attribute value="pages/home.jsf" name="menuUrl"></f:attribute>
</rich:menuItem>

Then it is getting reflected.

can any one please provide any pointer why it is like so.
