abhisek,

Thanks for your updates.but i didnt got what exactly it mean.

I got below exceptions during the standalone class which trying to access MQ Server and its Queue.

1) javax.naming.NamingException: Failed to initialize the ORB [Root exception is java.lang.ClassCastException]

2) Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException

if i gave like this,

ctx.lookup("QueueConnectionFactory");
or
ctx.lookup("jms/QueueConnectionFactory");

3) And Now,

javax.naming.ConfigurationException: Name space accessor for the java: name space has not been set. Possible cause is that the user is specifying a java: URL name in a JNDI Context method call but is not running in a J2EE client or server environment.

if i gave like this.

ctx.lookup("java:/QueueConnectionFactory");
or
ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/QueueConnectionFactory");

I want to know what is the value it is looking at inside of look up and how to configure (Either in MQ Server or Environment)

Scenario:

One Parent XML Document has to be splitted into more than one XML Documents Using Java.

Is there any standard approaches are their already. or we have to take each and every element (Using DOM) and Create child XML Documents.

Thanks in Advance.
HI,

I am trying to wrote a sample program which lists all the files in a particular directory.

I am using File.listFiles() which shows all the files in the current directory and not the files / directories in the subdirectories.
Is we have any specific method for getting these details or we have to make a loop and do each and every directories.

Thanks in Advance.

Static Variables are common to all the instances of a particular class where they declared and defined.

Hi,

I have tried the below code and it is allowing both null as key as well as values. based on difference between HashMap and Hashtable several tutorials mentioning null is not allowable in Hashtable afterwards of Synchronized difference. Kindly clarify if you have any idea on this.
If these statements are correct then is there any other difference between HashMap and Hashtable?

Team,

Then can i say like this...

Generics are enhanced collections which will supports or restricts each collection with a specific type.

Can any one tell me the difference between collections and generics?
I have confused with 1.4 and 1.5 collection declarations like this!

1.4

ArrayList al;

1.5

ArrayList<String> al;

Where Generic making difference on collections on 1.5
