Hi folks!

While the ebook has been available for sometime, our official publication date is tomorrow, and that's when the paper book will be available on our site at pragprog.com. Retail book stores such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc., will offer it for sale sometime after that. Unfortunately that's not something I have control over. Sometimes Amazon has been known to sit on a pile of books on their loading dock for a week or 2 or more (they had that problem over Christmas). Sometimes it shows up right away. Go figure.

At any rate, we start shipping tomorrow, Wed the 17th of March, 2015.

I'm sorry you didn't care for the tone of the book--most people do. In fact, one of the most common compliments we get is that people enjoy our approachable style. If you want stuffy, academic tomes, there are other publisher's products that would suit you better.
