I have a link in my portlet on click of which should open a popup. The pop up is getting opened and the data is coming. I have applied some styles to the content in the popup which is not coming. For the portal we have a framework which holds the styleclass. The same look and feel has to come in the popup window also. Please let me know how we can achieve this.

I have a t:commandLink in my page. It was working well. Suddenly it stopped working. Action method is not getting called and i am not able to find out the reason. Is there any condition under which action method wont get called. Please help me.

Thanks for the reply. I tried target attribute and not able to get the desired result. I tried the below one.

<h:outputLink onclick="window.open('Guide.faces', 'popupWindowName', 'dependent=yes, menubar=no, toolbar=no'); return false;" value="#"> <h:outputText value="open popup" /> </h:outputLink>

Now am getting the popup window. But Guide.faces showing blank. I have the jsp with name Guide.jsp. Please let me know if there is anything else i need to configure to get the page content.

I have a link in my jsf page. If i click that link it has to show a pop up containing some static content. The static content is a jsp. Is it possible to show that jsp as a pop up on click of that link. or is there any other way we can do the same. Please let me know your suggestions.

I have a jsf portlet page (page1.jsp) which has a button. On click of that button, it has to go to another portlet (page2). I have added the navigation rule in faces-config.xml and it is getting redirected to the page2 on click of the button in page1. The problem is, page2 has a link which has reference to page1. But whenver am clicking that link, it is not taking me to page1. Do we need to write any event handlers or something? Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

I have a list which needs to be returned in the jsp. I can have that list in <h:datatable>. which is actually a list of questions and answers. I want to have that list as hidden and i am planning to do some client side validations with that list values. For doing that, i have to make this list as javascript object. I ahve to display the answer for the selected question. I am having the questions in a drop down. I don't know how to do that. Please help to achieve this.Thanks in advance.

Thank you Bert. Actually it was not getting deployed properly. I have removed the server configuration in Weblogic workshop and reconfigured everything and restarted. Now it is working fine. Thanks.

I have done everything as mentioned in the tutorial. But am getting 404 error if i try to run the application. Can anybody help me to solve this? In our application we are facing a problem while forwarding the URL. We are having a sitemap in which all the links are mapped to some other URL. if we click a link which shows www.xyz.com when we move the cursor above the link, there is some processing happenned at the WCS(websphere commerce server) level and it is getting redirected to some other URL. I just want to do a forward here, so that the URL won't change in the client's browser. In WCS am not able to forward also. So thought of doing at webserver level. Can anybody suggest how to do this webserver forwarding. We are using sun one web server. kindly help.
