Having sub-folders in WEB-INF/lib directory should be possible without the trouble of going into creating customized class loaders.

It seems that it just make sense. Sometimes there can be so many jar files in there that it looks like a zoo. It looks more organized and clean with having sub-folders. If there are sub-folders then it becomes easier to remove unwanted jar files without risk of breaking the code, it also makes it easier to know what jars are used where. It is very easy to keep on dropping jars in the lib folder but one would have to think twice before removing them because there is a concern that something might get broken. Which bring back to my initial point of having clarity and simplicity.

I have finished doing the assignment and I am ready to upload it. I have question as to how should I study for the written part of the assignment. I would like some suggestion, as to how should I prepare for it.

The specs ask that if -1 is passed into the lock method then the entire database is locked. As I was reading GUI specs I did not find anywhere, where lock(-1) would be used directly or indirectly. Why is there this lock(-1) requirement if it is not used. Can somebody help me understand.
Thanks,
Sanjeev
Hi ,
I am trying to implement lock and unlock methods. I have db.db file that has flight information. The instructions say that I may move this(db.db) file but I may not modify it. I don't understand why db.db should not be modified, then where does the new airline flight bookings go?
thanks,
Sanjeev
The servlet has a table in which small Java class method is called. It is this class method call that gets duplicated each time refresh button is pressed.

I am running my servlet on Tomcat 4.0, RedHat Linux 7.2. When I hit the Refresh button on the browser, my servlet content gets duplicated, each time I press refresh button.
What should I do so that my servlet content gets refreshed but not duplicated.

Hi,
I am having problem with my GUI displaying properly. I have ComboBox that is used to display different input cards. When particular card has received the input and everything works, but when I use same ComboBox option again, the input area does not get displayed like it did the first time. Why is that? Should I use removeActionListener(), or what.
Thanks,
Sanjeev

Hi,
I have a CardLayout that sits in the CENTER of BorderLayout. I use JComboBox to switch between the cards. How do I refresh the card after the input has been taken, so that result can be displayed in the same area where the card was. I have tried remove, repaint nothing seems to work right. The previous GUI sits on top of the new GUI and it looks like an abstract art work. All I want is to make previous GUI disappear and new GUI to appear. Please help!
