Thanks for advice Paul,

I played with some of the components and now my diagrams are fitting in ENterprise Architect 6.5.
Welcome Dan I will love learn Seam since our company is using JBoss application server. And we are already using EJB 3.0.
Thanks Bala, I am compiling the final html and removing any unrequired images. If the final upload goes over 1000K then its a good idea to request SUN for special righs to email them.

And yes I did not notice that this post was 3 months old thanks for looking at this post and replying.
Hi Wang,

Im also using enterprise architect 6.5, Im nearly done with my J2EE 1.4 assignment, but when I saved (used Save as Image option) the PayForItineray sequence diagram it came out to be 400KB after zip.

The instructions say the project should not be more than 1000KB else there will be problems uploading the assignment. Let me know if there is some other option in Enterprise architect which should be used for saving / exporting UML disgrams?
Thanks Ronald, I clearly understand the way you have explained the usage of BMP

I think to make it simple for now, I will go ahead and use DAO instead.

There is no time limit on the SCEA Part 2 assignment submission. I downloaded the assignment on Aug 28 2007 and I checked with SUN folks and they are fine if I submit the assignment till Dec 2008 (since SCEA 1.4 is expiring in December).
Great job, I understand your pain I am also struggling to give SCEA part 2 and part 3... my wife is completely taking care of the baby while im studying...
Hi Prash,

I believe Ashish cleared his SCEA 1.4 Part 2 and Part 3 exams and not SCEa 5 exam....

Thanks Ashish,

SUN responded with the following:

The SCEA v1 was retired on February 28, 2008 with the release of the new SCEA 5. You have until December 31, 2008 to complete all parts of this certification.

If you have not purchased the SCEA v1 Part 3 essay exam (310-061), you may still purchase this exam through the Sun Training Registrar in your country. The exams are not available for purchase online.

Please use the link below to obtain the contact information for the Sun Registrar in your country:

http://www.sun.com/training/world_training.html

The retired SCEA v1 did not have a time limit for completion, so you do not have to complete the assignment within one year of purchase.
Thanks Ashish, my sequence and class diagrams are kind of ready. I had struts in my sequence diagram and thinking of changing it to non-existing-framework MVC approach.

I also have login / enroll / forgot password sequence diagrams. Looks like I am going on the right path

Thanks Ashish,

One more question: In component diagram did you show all the JSPs, Delegates, Facades (Cade's style) or you drew high level components showing JSP, Delegate, Facade etc?
