Hello,

Thanks for the update. Please clarify the following things.

For my first point, how to replace this line with a customized renderer?

I tried to create a customized renderer to pass/set the column class(Boolean.class) . But the problem that I faced with a customized renderer is, not able to pass the column class(Boolean.class). There is no suitable method to pass the column class to Cell Renderer class. The only possible way is to send via the getDefaultRenderer() method.

If we can creata a proper customized renderer, we can draw the background colors of the cell.

Kindly advise.

To the the second point. I will analyse and get back to you soon. Thank you.

As you mentioned all the Dialog boxes are in the central class. I believe this will help.

Hello Tsang,

No, JDialog box does not know their existence. But partially I agree with your approach. If I'm not wrong then you mean to say that "have the references for all the Objects and make sure to close the already opened JDialog boxes".

Thanks for the quick reply. Apart from this will there be any other solution which Swing provides.

Hello,

In the swing application, JDialog box is used to display the list of persons. So that users can select the appropriate persons from the displayed list.

Now the problem is, this JDialog will be opened when we click on a button. There are many other buttons in the same JFrame. Each button will display different kind of information based on the input given in the textfield next to the button. When I click on a button JDialog opens, but when I click on the another button new JDialog opens, but the first one is still open(existing is not closed yet).

JDialog which is opened should be closed automatically when another button is opened. For example if I open a new JDialog box without closing existing open JDialog now both the Dialog boxes are opened together.

I request to provide few hints on this.

Here is the sample code :

Hi,

I'm trying to write a ant build file to get the status of the given project/package from CVS as shown below.

Using above snippet I'm able to connect MyWebServices project which is located under the head. Since I'm using c:/temp/MyWebServices which is already checked out from cvs in my current temp location.

Here what I'm basically trying to get to see what are all the files which are modified in locally (means in my workspace) and remote.

Ant always says cvs_target: [cvs] cvs [status aborted]: Absolute pathname `C:\\temp\\MyWebservices' not allowed...

Kindly provide a solution for this problem. I don't want to place this ant file in the MyWebServices probject, rather I would like to keep this file outside of the project, so that I can make use of the same script for any
project which is located into cvs.

Thanks in advance!!

Two things here:

1. First while saving the amount into the session you have to convert the amount into the string.
For example

This means what ever data type you are placing into the session the same data type needs to be used while retreiving from the session object.
Error occured since you placed the estimate amount as Long value into the session and you are trying to retrieve in the jsp page as string.

2. In the Jsp page you don't have to get the session object from the HttpRequest object as shown below:

Instead you can directly refer the HttpSession object in the jsp using the implict object

Hi,

I'm new to Apache CXF and WebServices. I need to authorize the user based on their role to decide whether he can access the web service method or not.

On the net we have only how to write use the SimpleAuthorizingInterceptor but we don't have any source for the client to test this authorization concept.

I have written some web service like this:

in the spring beans.xml file i have mentioned the information like this:

And I generated the wsdl using eclipse Java2WSDL option.
When I'm tyring to access this service from the client I'm getting UNAUTHORIZED..

Here is my client code:

Here are my doubts:
1. Is my client is the correct one to access the webservice?
2. How do I pass the role information to the webservice while calling a web method?

Don't consider typos or compilation issues. This code is working fine if i remove the authorization bean in the beans.xml file.

How do I achieve the authorization provided by the apache cxf.

Please help me to solve this issue...

Merry Crismastmas!!

I have a doubt like this:

Why java.lang.Object class is concrete class? Why not it is a abstract class?

What could be the reason behind making it as a concrete class??

Please clarify my doubt....

Thanks in advance!!

My Example is quite a big...

The best multi threaded application is Tomcat web server. Go to Apache and download the source code of the tomcat...

There is a book called "How Tomcat Works".. This book explains how tomcat is developed with the help of Threads.
Hi,

I'm currently making use of FOP to generate the PDF documents. I'm facing an issue while placing the image file. The problem is that I want to keep the image as it is with the image original dimensions. So I'm not giving any properties to fo:external-graphic tag. But the image is shrinking. The version of fop I'm using is 0.94version.

What needs to be done to avoid this shrinking?

I tried by setting
option 0: tryied with scaling="non-uniform", with some dimensions but image is not rendered in the proper shape as required.
option 1: content-width="auto", content-height="auto", scaling="uniform", width="100%", height="100%"
option 2: content-width="scale-to-fit", content-height="scale-to-fit", scaling="uniform", width="100%", height="100%"

I'm able to see the image in the PDF document but it is shrinked the width and height of the image and placed in the pdf document. I want to avoid this shrinking and keep the image in the pdf as it is with it's original image dimensions.

Please provide me the solution for this.

Please do not worry about typos.

Thank you very much for the help!!
