Thanks. Just going to investigate this SCJP+ now.

It was the sixty questions exam in three hours - possibly the quickest three hours of my life! Think that threw me as I was expecting 72 questions. I would say that it was probably as hard as the mock exams. Will start my revision again ready to re-take.

Will do thanks. Got 53% which is low considering I was getting 70 - 80% on Whizlabs and around the same on the mock exam that came with K&B book.

I wonder if somebody could answer this question for me. Over a week ago I sat and failed the SCJP 6 exam. I did mark a lot of questions for review during my initial pass through the exam but did actually answer all of them. Unfortunately, I did not unmark these questions. Does anybody know if these questions would have been included in calculating my score?

I have been teaching myself Java (using Kathy & Bert's books) and am hoping to pass SCJP 6 in the next few months. At the moment I am at home with the children but am looking to secure work as a programmer in the very near future. What advice would you give to me for finding my first job.

Can anybody please advise when it was announced that the above would become obsolete. I seem to think that something was announced at the end of 2006 but am not sure.

Please help! I have been studying a course for the above and was hoping to take my exam in January 2009. However, I have today learnt that this exam has expired and can no longer be taken after November. I understand that CX-310-036 has replaced this exam but you need to have passed a previous Java exam first. Does anybody know what exam I should be taking. Have spent a while studying for this exam by distance learning and have fitted it in around children - to get this far and to find out that I cannot take the exam is gutting. Any advice greatly appreciated.
