Maneesh Godbole wrote:Sure you can. However you will need to figure out how to return the correct getValue(); because that value will be used as display.
And eventually you will need to add all the columns to the table. Check out the example here http://www.gwtproject.org/doc/latest/DevGuideUiCellTable.html

thanks for the link.

GWT
in GWT do we need to declare every column present on the table?

can we just put it in a method to reduce redundant task?

how?

GWT
kindly post your code not the error.

describe what are you doing and what do you want to do
finally i understand how to upload and stream files of a picture (jpg/gif) in the web but how about

1) PDF or
2)other files like video,
3) music
4) flash

is it the same?

(well uploading part of a PDF seems ok but how about the streaming part?)

*edit

yes i found whats causing my problem, its on my DD.

@Bear I dont have the copy of my whole project when i posted my problem on the forums and i just created similar situations by remembering how i did it on my project. next time I wont post issues until I have my code so it wont waste other people's time.

to all who replied thank you.

working in different directories requires different url pattern in the DD. I never knew this (because all samples in the tutorials ive read so far has 1 directory) which is the cause of the error.

omg just say no

By streaming the pictures with a servlet, I can display pictures on a web app by using the image tag

<img src =" /image/picture.jpg">

but when I tried displaying the picture through the web browser

http://myWebAppName:8080/home/image/picture.jpg

it displays an error the the location is not available. my question is,
can we access streamed pictures on the web browser?

I deleted libraries that i don't need on the project anymore (on the library tag in netbeans) oddly, the Jboss server icon on the projects library list disappeared too, and Im 100% sure i did not delete that. Help!

What do I need to do?

I changed the server to glassfish and then back to jboss but it does not solved the problem.
i tried adding all server jar related files but it does not help.

running at netbeans 6.5.1
well i had to do additional research for it to work. but for anybody interested how to do it, Ive put a little sample code from my research
