Hi everyone!

Does anybody know any kind of API that I can generate UML diagrams (just class diagrams would do for me) inside my Java code. I've done some look up on google and all I've found so far were eclipse plugins that could generate UML diagrams from my code =(

Thanks,

- Gus

Just so you guys know I've tried the following and it didn't work:

Which is the real question? Client's IP address or host's IP address?

I'm sorry for the confusion. Actually I need to know the client's IP address. I tried Paul's solution but it didn't work well for me, I know that it's because of the HostName I sent as the method's parameter.

Hi guys,

Is there a way to get the host's ip address from my webservice class? I'm using axis2.

Hi ranches,

I'm returning an OMElement on the webservice method that's called, but the problem is when it has the & ampersand char I cannot get the whole xml, seems that it stops sending the xml from that point on and just go straight to the closing tags.

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this? because sometimes I may return some other weird characters such as japanese, chinese or things like that so I just want to make sure those characters won't mess my xml up.

Hi,

I've looked up into some forums and found nothing that deals with the things I wanna implement in my ExpandableList, which are:

1) I want to expand only one item (row) at a time (closes it whenever I want to expand a new item)
2) when I click on the item I want to change the text on it and add an image in that row
3) I need a button inside every item so that it can do a specific task based on its row's data
4) I tried to see if it has a kind of onListItemClick method but there isn't... how can I get the position of the item that was selected?

if you know how to accomplish ANY of these tasks I would really appreciate.

Thanks a lot guys!

I'm sorry guys, I think I forgot to mention that I'm using Joda Time which is where I get the DateTime class from.

Hi everyeone,

I'm stuck with it trying to figure out what's going on and I thought somebody in here could help me out...

When I convert it to Timestamp I still get a different time than the timezone I've specified:

Hello guys,

I'm having a problem which I'm not sure how to solve it. I have a Map<String, Integer> and I would like to access this Map on my javascript.

Does anyone know how to do it?

Thanks in advance.
Hello there,

I have a JSP that lists some values and turn them into a link, and each link has its own value... but the problem is that I'm attempting to get the value of the link that has been clicked, but unfortunately I get the value of the last link that has been listed on the forEach loop... does anybody know how can I get that value by passing it to either a parameter or an attribute?

Hi everyone, I'm facing a weird problem every time I try to submit a form... this actually has to do a bit with Javascript, which I'm still not very familiar with. but at least I could make it work.

So the issue is that when I submit the form with at least one of the the checkbox checked, I always get the "isChecked" value as false... since this is what I set on the reset() method.... but this happens only when I submit it by hitting the link button that I made up and put some Javascript stuff in... so, I tried putting a submit button on my JSP it worked just fine... so I'm assuming that this has to do with my Javascript.

Just so you guys know, I'm using Struts.

JSP:

The Form:

This is the Action which I use to get the form values and print them out:

Thanks for the quick reply! but I'm sorry this is the first project (with JSP & Struts I mean) I'm working on and I have no idea what you're talking about, can you please be a little bit more specific?

Many thanks!

Scoped variables (the proper term for "attributes") placed in session scope should be used sparingly across requests. Check your logic for a design flaw before proceeding. Why do you need to pass this data around?

I want to pass the Map because I can use it instead of doing another search on my DataBase.

alright... now I got how to pass more than one String parameter, by using:

now the issue is... how can I pass a Map to another Action class? through an Attribute or what?
