I am facing a strange problem in JBoss 6.1. I have created a JMS Bridge between JBoss 6.1 and Weblogic 10.3.5 in which source queue resides in Weblogic and target queue is in JBoss. Now we have following scenarios:

1: Weblogic is accessible when JBoss is warming up
Observation: JMS Bridge works fine
2: Weblogic is inaccessible when JBoss is warming up and is accessible after JBoss is completely up
Observation: JMS Bridge does not pull data from Weblogic Queue
3: Weblogic gets inaccessible after few successful message transfers and becomes accessible after few minutes
Observation: JMS Bridge does not pull any more data from Weblogic Queue

I am not sure why this is happening. It would be great if anyone can put some light on it.

Thanks,

Hi Guys,

Is there any way we can deploy our application to run on different port and the admin console on different port in JBoss 6.1

Thanks,

I would like to know what are the configuration points/files for configuring durable topic subscriber in JBoss 6.1.0. I have a program which is connecting to a topic as a durable subscriber with userid as 'pos' but I am getting following exception on JBoss console:

I couldn't see any response from JBoss honchos. What seems to me is that the login module in JBoss is not working as expected. The roles are getting lost somewhere after authentication and before setting in the session.
Please let me know if you have thoughts otherwise.

I am trying to deploy an application in JBoss 6.1 and getting the error -

HTTP Status 400 - Invalid direct reference to form login page

after successful authentication from database.

After careful examination of server log I find that it may be due to securityRoles coming as null as shown in the following logs.
I am not sure why this is happening because the query which we have provided for roles is fetching the data as shown in the logs as well. Is this a JBoss issue or we are missing any configuration?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same amount of time. Doesn't matter whether debug is on or off. I believe there are some points to enhance the performance of JBoss including its warm-up time.

Hi,

JBoss 6.1.0 is halting almost 5-7 mins everytime at this point. My m/c has i3 processor with 4GB of RAM. I dont think this is a system related issue. Is there any way to speed up this process?

Hi Pradeep,
Your problem has already been addressed in this thread.

Hi Pradeep,
Welcome to JavaRanch.
Please post your run.bat contents. Moreover, execute run.bat from command prompt and see if it shows any kind of error.

Hi Rácz,

Please do not modify jboss-log4j.xml. This xml file is for JBoss logging. If you want your application to use log4j please make a separate configuration file and add it into your jar/ear. In your configuration file you can specify the log file name as well as its location. Hope this helps.

try cleaning out the <JBOSS_HOME>\server\<SERVER_TYPE>\tmp folder. See if it solves your problem.

what is "default\.\tmp" ???
Try to find it out and still if you are unable to fix it up i suggest you to delete this JBoss instance and reinstall a fresh copy and try deploying your application.

Hi Ragi,
As you can see the location of your war file is showing as <JBOSS_HOME>\server\default\tmp folder. Please delete the contents of tmp folder and run your JBoss again. This will solve your problem.

Hi Manju,
Welcome to the code ranch.

i have enabled ssl in server.xml in jboss at 8444. But once i restart jobss it does not start

Not sure what you are trying to convey.

strange thing is that i did not change ssl port from 8444 to 8443 in server.xml just typed my url with port 8443 instead of 8444. why it is not taking 8444 and still running with old configurations.

You change url from 8444 to 8443 and still expect it to run on 8444? Is your application working without SSL?

Could you please elaborate the steps that you have followed for SSL?

Hi Lydia,

This forum is only for JBoss related queries. Your problem has nothing to do with JBoss.

"Additional Plugins are required to display all the media on this page." and a gray area that says"Download missing plugins".
