We developed an application in weblogic 7.0 , with struts 1.2 . It worked well.

When we executed the same application in webspehre 4.0 , with struts 1.1, it is giving

java.lang.AbstractMethodError: javax/xml/parsers/SAXParser.getXMLReaderat org.apache.commons.digester.Digester.getXMLReader(Digester.java:902)at org.apache.commons.digester.Digester.parse(Digester.java:1567)at org.apache.struts.action.ActionServlet.initServlet(ActionServlet.java:1433)at org.apache.struts.action.ActionServlet.init(ActionServlet.java:466)

Please suggest what to be done.

if you could tell me how you are calling....and how you are setting path...then I can tell you....are you passing any arguments to the file?

hi brian,
alreaday in your java script file, you have a method. right.
In your html file,----
< script src="test.js" > testAlert();
< /script >
---don't know weather it is right or wrong, but
as far as I know,
you need not mention the method name, instead, you just say
< script src="test.js" >< /script >
in your html file and call the method.
good luck.

import javax.servlet.jsp.JspException;
import javax.servlet.jsp.JspTagException;
import javax.servlet.jsp.tagext.BodyTagSupport;

JSP
hi,
Through jsp you will never connect to database,because they reside on client side, there won't be any security.
The db connection takes place only through servlets or ejb's, it is just your assumption that through jsp's dbconnection is happening.
Through jsp if you connect to database, then it won't be a MVC architecture.

hi,
I hope this will work.
Give a name to form.
<form name='xxx'>
In the on_click event, call a java script method onBack(), and in java script onBack() place the following code:
document.xxx.action="yourjspfile.jsp";
document.xxx.method="POST";
document.xxx.submit();
"yourjspfile.jsp" is the file, where you want to go when you click the button.
I am sure this will work.
good luck.

Hi,
I am prepared to write for part 1, but don't know where to write. I consulted NIIT,Basheerbagh, but they are charging 7500 rs, which is more than $150. Could some one from hyd, tell me how much to pay for the exam , and where ?
Thanks,
Laxmi
Thanks sanjay, rafus.....so you mean to say Session bean is Coarse , and Entity is fine grained ?
Could you be more clear about the question? BTW, once check the DD also based on your application server.
laxmi
Could some one explain me what is coarse grained and what is fine grained?
Thanks,
Laxmi
