Hi,
I already using a scrollable dataTable.
I got some performance enhances by using a straight object model, and not as much small objects, where each need several service requests.
thanks,

Hi Bart,

I am trying to use the t:dataTable to get in a faster way on the screen.
The render time is very high, just of course of all my elements and functions included in the several columns.
Have you got any tips to get more performance on that element?
Thanks,
Klaus

Hello,

I'm using a t:dataTable attached to a t:dataScroller. Currently, the t:dataScroller shows the navigation buttons and a list of page numbers
(e.g.: first, previous 1 2 3 etc).
I am using a collection in my t:dataTable by the attribute value=...
The Scroller shows me only 10 items of the full Collection.
My question is: How can I have access to the 10 shown items ? I only have my whole list in the backing bean.

The second question is, what happens if I sort the elements, can I get the shown items also in a sorted way?
Thanks,

Klaus

Hi!

I am just using the tomahawk dataTable with the dataScroller.
I have my data (from a collection) shown in the table, and I can scroll as I want.

The only thing is, that I need the shown data in the backing bean. not the whole list, only the actual shown list on the dataTable.
Is there any possibility to get those selected data?
It should be in the same order as ordered on my dataTable.
Anyone any idea ? At the moment I have only the whole Collection in my backing bean.

Thanks,
Klaus

Hi,

I am trying to get the opened menu of the dropDownMenu component in a state, that the underlaying selectboxes are not in select if I hover the menuitems.

Direct under the dropDownMenu I have a selectBox.
Each time when I hover over my dropDownMenu, the menu is popuped below over the other selectBox. When I hover over the items of my dropDownMenu, the cursor gets the other selectBox selected, not the dropDownMenu.

Is there any possibility to get the visibility or the focus to the dropDownMenu?
I tried with the style rich-menu-list-border.

Thanks,
Klaus

Hi,

I resolved the problem by putting the following MyFacesExtensionsFilter into the web.xml:

Hopefully it works for your solution too!

I am searching for a free webspace to host Liferay for some tests.
Does anybody knows such hosts?
Thanks,

Each time I reload the page, I can use the URL Parameters.

Hi,

I am trying to read in my backing bean the given GET parameters from an URL like:
http://myapp.myserver.com/myjsfpage.xhtml?property=test

I need each call of the page the property, which is set in the URL. My problem: I do only have session as my scope.
So I tried to write an redirect like:
<redirect.xhtml>

My BackingBean looks like this:

Faces config:

I tried to create an Backing Bean with request scope, so that I can easily read the given GET Parameters for redirecting to my final BackingBean => method => property.
Even If I hit the page, it loops, and calls my method without setting the property from the URL.

Is there any better way to handle such parameters?
Thanks
