But you know even if i ask 3.3K or 3.5K, consultants say they cannot as its budget problem, the salary will be decided before forwarding resume to client... so i dont think the factors you mentioned are valid in all the cases like contract basis...

Can anyone please help me on interview preparation for my experience... ?? i have no idea as here where ever i go they ask technical questions for developer position... probably because of this i must be getting lower salary...

Me having 4.8 yrs of exp in java/j2ee... but getting only 3K on contract term... all consultants say they hav budget problem thought am really not sure of it...

what is the average salary for 4 or 5 years of exp in Java/J2EE technology???

How about the chance of getting permanent role here in singapore...??? I just started working since 4 months here in singapore after a long break of 1 year coz of recession and was on DP... so hav no idea about it...

any insights on this??
