I think I'll do that. I guess there is enough difference in the two for one to take a serious look at Spec 1.1. I have recently finished the book "Enterprise JavaBean" by Monson-Haefel (which I must say is a great book in this regard) and I believe we will be moving on to 5.1 in the near future.
Thanks for these advice and info.

Thank you for this info.
What we do everyday here is J2EE; RMI, JNDI, EJBs, JSP and Servlets, with Oracle backend and with applications deployed on a weblogic 4.5.1 server (cluster). I realize that I may be more familiar with EJB 1.0 instead of EJB 1.1 that WL 5.1 is using. Would this be a factor in regard to taking the class? Are they specific about which version of EJB spec they are covering in the class?

WLS-102-510-xx Developing Enterprise Applications with BEA WebLogic Server´┐Ż Version 5. Any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Has anyone from this forum ever taken bea's j2ee classes using weblogic server? I am enrolled for it at the end of the month and would appreciate some advice and comment on this.
Thank you.
