Hi Umasha,

Can you just check the types of webservices you are using in te project.
there are JAXWS rt(run time), jaxws dp. Which one is using in your project. Also make sure that jar file are in the class path
of the project.

request is an implicit object in JSP page.

So, you can try out like this.

request.getAttribute("the name you have used in servlet class");

Eg:

In servlet class

Boolean flag=true;
In servlet class request.setAttribute("sessVariable", flag);

In JSP page;

Boolean value = (Boolean)request.getAttribute("sessVariable");

NOTE: whater type of Object you have set to request, while retrieving you have to do the casting of same type. otherwise, you will be getting ClassCastException.

HI Friends

I have some issue with Log file in a web application. Could anyone let me know the fix if you have any idea.

I have a Log file. I wanted to update the Login user name for each and every log statement whereve ri have been used. The problem i am getting is i am not able to get the session in log file. All login credentials are there in session.


Your suggesions are valuable.
