Hi!

If your component is an EJB, you must represent it in both component and class diagram, with the same name...

Hi,

I think that no exists a specific book for this exam... you must study by varios books and articles.

You can use the older book (for 310-051 exam) to get the principles of architecture, but you must study the new technologies such as EJB 3, WebServices, Sun J2EE Design Patterns and so on in another fonts.

Hi Ilya,

I think that the "IMS" sould have a way to receive a complete house design. Through the complete house design (with all components) the "IMS" can calculate the indicative cost of the actual house design. In my opinion, analyzing the assignment, the "IMS" must fill the required features based on house design's components list, and arrive an indicative cost based on all components and its dependencies (such as heating, plubing and so on).

more opinions?

Hi...

I've this doubt too... but... reading the assignment, I think the jar file must contain an "index.html", a folder to diagrams images, the diagrams images (in JPG format, for example) and another htmls created (technical risk list, assumption list, for example)...

Anybody confirm or correct this ideia::

thanks Ranchers

Hi...

This is a your assumption. Is your decision... but...

In my opinion, this indicative cost is retrieved from Stock Inventory and Management System web service... It can the capacity for arrive this value, because it knows about all components in the actual house design and its dependencies (required features, such as heating, plumbing and so on).

This is my opinion... any more:

Hi Ranchers.

In my opinion, "Foundation", "Wall" and "Roof" are subclasses of a new class "Component". The "Component" defines the basic behavior for all components. I created a "HouseStyle" as an enum, to represents all houses styles allowed. All components has a "AllowedHouseStyleList" that defines of what house style the product is allowed. By this manner, the "StockInventorySystem" can receive a only house object, that contains all "Components" and your allowed house styles... The system must have a "User session control" (by HTTP Session, ou Stateful Session Bean) to control the actual and not finalized house design. And... I think that a pre-requisite for all use cases are the user be logged, created a new house and selected a houseStyle to the house to start the selecting components.

This is a little of my understand about this problem.

Hi...

to security reference, I made a fast read of this book "Core Security Patterns (http://www.coresecuritypatterns.com/)" but the another cited books has a good references to security in JEE platform... so, another books are sufficient material.

I don´t found mocks for this exam. I made the questions of Whizlabs Trial.

Thank´s.
Hi Demien.

The SCEA 5 exam wants you know the Core J2EE Design Patterns (The oficial patterns from the Sun) (http://java.sun.com/blueprints/corej2eepatterns/Patterns/index.html) and GoF Design Patterns (the beginner of the patterns, rsrsrs). 'Cause this I studied these two books. The theme is the same... but the subject not.

Hi Demien,

I used this material... this is very good to the test, but you´ll need experience too.
