I'm pretty sure I had it working in Eclipse 3.5; it seems the sort of thing I would remember. I'll install Oracle Workshop tomorrow and see how it goes.

I'm using regular Eclipse 3.4/Ganymede.

Hi,

When I try to add the WebLogic Web App Extensions facet to any Eclipse project, I get a strange error, which so far I've turned up nothing on. See below.I have no idea what's causing this.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Edit: Never mind; I've since narrowed the problem down to an issue with Weblogic shared libraries.

I'm new to struts, so my question might be dumb. My environment is Eclipse Ganymede / Oracle Weblogic 11gR1. When I add the Struts facet to a project and attempt to deploy it to Weblogic (even a vanilla project with only the Struts welcome jsp file), I get the following deployment error from the Weblogic console:This doesn't happen when Struts is not a project facet. I honestly have no idea how JSF could be tangled up in this. My only guess is there's something I don't know about Struts, a JSF dependency or something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll test it out on Tomcat shortly and see how that goes.

Edit: if I'm reading my O'Reilly correctly, Struts Shale does have a JSF dependency.
