Hi

We have our application deployed in weblogic 8.1 and it works fine. I tried with deploying it on weblogic 10.3. It is failing with the error message cannot resovle role-name : ges_user.
I created the user ges_user as I did in weblogic 8.1. But it is throwing the error.

Please let me know if I have to do anything differently in weblogic 10.3 with respect user creation.

Entry in web.xml
<run-as>
<role-name>ges_user</role-name>
</run-as>
</servlet>

Entry in weblogic-ejb-jar.xml
<security-role-assignment>
<role-name>ges_user_group</role-name>
<principal-name>ges_user</principal-name>
</security-role-assignment>

Entry in ejb-jar.xml
<security-identity>
<run-as>
<role-name>ges_user_group</role-name>
</run-as>
</security-identity>
</message-driven>

I tried creating the group ges_user_group and assinging the user ges_user. ges_user_group is added to the membership of administrators.
2. I tried creating the user ges_user and addign teh group Administrator. In weblogic 8.1 I haven't given any group to that user but it works.
3. I also tried creating teh user ges_user_group.

Hi Bear,

I didn't get any mail.

I found the solution for this. We need to keep taglib entries in the web.xml but we need to rename the .jspx to .jsp. When it is .jspx it is not recognosing scriptlets.

Praveena.

Thanks for the reply.

I removed all the entries in the web.xml and placed the jar files only in project lib folder and removed these jars from server common lib. In the other way also, I removed the jars from project lib and placed them in server common lib, still it is throwing the below error.

Hi

I wanted to examples on JSTL. but I am getting some problem.

web.xml

example1.jspx

I have placed .tld files under WEB-INF/tld folder and jstl.jar and standard.jar in lib folder in my project folder. I am using weblogic server. I am using example server and using placed the war file in autodeploy folder and jstl.jar and standard.jar files inside samples\domains\wl_server\lib.

When i am tryign to access the example1.jspx, it is throwing the error Illegal token for taglib directive.

Could anybody tell me what is the problem?

hi

I am using <html:optionsCollection property='regions' label='state' value='code'/>

In ActionForm, I have variable

private Region[] regions; and setter and getter methods for this.

In the action class I am setting the form.setRegions(regions);

Initially when theform is loading, it is displaying regions.

But when I submit the page, it is going to the action class and setting the regions, but when the page is loading it is giving error that 'failed to obtain specified colleciton".

Could anybody tell me how to solve this?

Thanks
