Hi All,

Have we got any mechanisms to get an attribute through JavaScript that has been put in request within a Spring controller?

Thanks in Advance
Vidyakar Sharma.
Hello All,

I need to post the same request to a different URL from a spring controller class while I am sending response from my own controller only.
Is it possible? Please help.

Thanks,
Vidyakar Sharma.

Is there any way to stop static variable loading?

Thanks

Ajay,
It's not like that. All variables declared within a method use modifiers of that method.

Hi Vishnu,

You are declaring a static variable within a static method.

Hey Anupam,
You are forgetting that Scanner has a number of methods like nextInt and nextLong.

hi tushar,
use java.util.Scanner class for taking user inputs or
use Reader class with some buffering capability.
First one is easy for you as you are learning right now.

Hi Anish,
Go through the "Head First Design Patterns" written by the founder of this site.

Hi Anupam,
Go through the whole life-cycle of a typical java program. Compiler does not do something except creating a bytecode for a particular source that you have given to that. While you call your interpreter to execute the program it happens in several phases.
The very first thing that your interpreter does is "Class Loading". And at this phase all the static variables and methods are loaded into the memory. At this stage there is no instance created in the heap. So instance variables can not be used from an static context . Am I right Guys???

Why wait(), notify() and notifyAll() methods are there in the Object class and why not in the Thread class while threads are the objects which keeps waiting or notifies another threads? Please help me.

Probably question was not interpreted properly.
Hi All,

Is there any mechanism through which we can find the occupied memory area by an Object?
Is it true that if we instantiate a subclass then the occupied memory by the object will be greater than the superclass' object ?

class A{}
class B extends A{}

Let instance of A occupy 3KB.
How can be it found the occupied memory area by an instance of B?
