Hi all,

I have installed Netbeans 6.8 on my windows vista 64 bit ...loaded laptop, everything is fine while installing but the problem comes when i try to work on it...while clicking on NetBeans icon it simply prompts "Error:Client VM not supported "...i have installed jdk-1_5_0_15-windows-amd64,jre-1_5_0_15-windows-amd64 for my tomcat server which i have been using for my web services and UDDI registry with jUDDIv2.

whats the problem exactly i couldnot able to find out... long back i worked with Net Beans 6.0 on this laptop, then there was absolutely no problem that time...due to some reasons i uninstalled it and now trying with 6.8,even with 6.7.1 also the same response "Error:Client VM not supported " is coming...checked if any folders of earlier version are left by trying regidt.exe in command prompt also...nothing of that sort, totally clean. Then why this problem is coming again and again???

Help any one...

thank you in advance
thank you for replying sir,

but I am not really getting what exactly problem is ?

jUDDI

I checked the WEB-INF/juddi-users.xml file and confirmed that the userid and
password in that file matches the ones in the conf/server.xml file too.

Can someone please give me a clue as to what's wrong? I've read various
posts and tried/checked everything that was mentioned but Tomcat doesn't
seem to want to connect to MySql - I am getting the following errors from
the happyjuddi.jsp page:

jUDDI DataSource Validation
+ Got a JNDI Context!
+ Got a JDBC DataSource (dsname=java:comp/env/jdbc/juddiDB)
- DB connection was not aquired. (Cannot create JDBC driver of class '' for
connect URL 'null')
- SELECT COUNT(*) FROM PUBLISHER failed (null)

Why is the class empty and the URL null in the "DB connection" error above?
Where is it looking?

Using the command line, I can get into MySql and do the query "SELECT
COUNT(*) FROM PUBLISHER" and the correct count does come back as expected so
I believe MySql is working.

My happyjuddi.jsp page is showing like this

Happy jUDDI!

Hello,

Someone gave me a MySql dump text file and I am trying to recreate the database in question on a different machine.

I installed MySql 5.1.44-winx64 on the machine. It is a brand new installation.

When I execute the command
mysql -u root -p {path}\create_database.sql

I get this output:
Enter password:<password is entered>
ERROR 1049 (42000): Unknown '{path}\create_database.sql'

Do I have to create the database first to recreate it?
I don't know anything about the source database.

What is the correct procedure for restoring a new database onto a machine with NO databases on it?

Thanks in advance.
Hi Dilipkumar,

For my UDDI registry I am using 1)JAVA jdk1.6.0_18 2)Tomcat 6.0.24 3)juddi0.9rc4 4)mysql-5.1.44-winx64 5)mysql-connector-java-5.1.12 6)eclipse-SDK-3.2.1-win32-x86_64 (all 6 are 64bit versions only)as my windows vista is 64 bit.
I followed the steps xactly in the following link
juudi0.9rc4 installation
I done upto the step Install JUDDI (Last step 9th)and my Juddi is happy now.(( juddi is happy now “Juddi is happy” is how writers express that jUDDI is correctly configured. If you see any errors in your JUDDI validation, rework these instructions.))
but in my browser while checking " http://localhost:90/juddi/console/ " none of the API s are working ,I mean when I tried vd get_registryinfo
and pressed the "Submit" button it is displaying "Connection refused: connect"
similarly for validation response was "Validation is not implemented yet." where have I done the mistaken, help me please, could not trace out.

Hi Dilipkumar Jadhav,

i too got the same problem and tried with tomcat6.0.20 zip, followed as suggested, gave cd [dir]/[tomcat path]/bin/startup.bat ,but then it is prompting catalina home is not recognized, the environment variables nee dto be set to run this. but i gave CATALINA_HOME =[dir]/[tomcat path].whats wrong done?

and my major dought is just by unzipping tomcat, how can the system takes the port number and runs on localhost without using manual installation which contains few Next button pressing steps.may be question is silly but i want to know the difference and steps to go with installation of tomcat 6.0.20 (zip).mine is windows vista 64bit O.S,using jdk1.6.0_18(win 64 bit).which TOMCAT 6.0.20 bin/src/windows installer(zip/tar etc.,) i should download for my Win 64 bit. i want to set up a UDDI registry,so i downloaded mysql-5.1.44-winx64,tomcat 0.9rc4 and eclipse-SDK-3.5.1-win32-x86_64

Hi

Thank you, but i dont know how to check for registry entries...,i just tried in Google and found out the link useful -Running Tomcat as a 64-bit windowtomcat-as-a-64-bit-windows-service.html
Also i realized that his laptop is 64 bit Windows Vista,4GB RAM,320GB HD.so now i decided its better to uninstall both tomcat and jdk 6 of 32 bit.and install both s/w s with 64 bit versions as mentioned in the likn.so that no confusion.

sry

try to help me for my other post with which im struggling, here Windows Vista OS (32 bit),tomcat 6.0.20 and jdk 6,im using it on my lab PC

Hi,

I am using Tomcat 6.0.20 for my WebServices,im using Axis2 & JUDDIV3 on Tomcat for my webservices n uddiregistry, it worked normally so far,but suddenly now the server was unusually hanging, fails to start i think, taking too much time bt yet not starting, even im not getting any error messages, simply the progress bar is trying trying to access, some times at the left bottom of the browser it shows trying to connect to local host but never connects. im giving htttp://localhost:8080/ on browser.

Thanks in advance
