Hi ,
Then i would like to go with java programmin approach to validate each coloumn.
Please provide the links which is best for accessing excel and validate data and also change excel cell colors which is supposed to be invalid data

I have a requirement in which we provide the excel template to customer to put data and before save into data base we have to validate the data and show if there is any problem in data on each cell level by changing it color or anything that possible.

basically we have to validate that basic data lik text length, negative numbers with validation of lookup data i.e. whether the data is referencing to sub table is already existing in data base or not.

I want a solution on this.

Any web user can right click on a page and see the text.

If you're submitting a form and the form's method attribute has a value of "get" then all of the form parameters will get sent as part of the querystring.
"Get" is the default method if no "method" attribute is present.

If you use method="post", then the parameters are not part of the URL. They get send in the body of the request and won't show up in the address widow of the browser.
Without SSL neither is secure. Anyone with a packet sniffer can read everything going over your network.

Even with SSL, there is still the danger that either the user of your application or someone else, if your user walks away from their machine can view the username and password simply by right clicking the page and viewing the source.

So is there any other wayother than ssl for security or we have to implement something else

From where?

If you're sending the username and password back to your user's browser SSL may or may not be able to help you.
What exactly are you trying to do?

Actually i am trying to launch an application fron other application. In this case I have two scenarios..

1. either both application are on same java server
2.or they are on different server

I am sending username and password to retrieve the data from the storage area (u can say a database) to show in my second java application.
If you need some more info than just inform me.

Thanks,

Hi guys,

I am preparing for scjp from last more than one month and i read kathy sieraa 1 time and some chapter 2 times but still i am facing difficulty to solve onlin problems .

Type of difficulties facing are:
1.most of the time i observed that built in classes like collections ,wrapper classes methods knowledge is must but how i can remember each method syntax.
Give me some tricks to learn

2.Thread prob .In this most of the tim where answer are not expected sometime they give none of these and some times they giver more than one answe where applied.

3.exception: i m really confused about checked and unchecd exception.at the time of solving Q i am confused whether its necessary to declare exception when subclass override super class function..

Now in the end i want that based on my problem statement tell me where i am lacking and how i can improve.
what are the basic thing that i have to take into consideration before giving exams.

Regards,
Sudhanshu
