Hello,

HTML5 has very good features compared to 4, how ever support for various features are limited from different browsers, is it too early to move to HTML5 as it requires many tricks to be backward compatible with lower version browsers?
With respect to CSS3 as well the support is not full fledged and in order to backward compatible we have to do lot of work arounds. Is it possible to have a list of features that are widely supported by browser for html5 and CSS3.

Thanks
Thanks for your reply,
It happens every time I call the webservice operation in my application. Its mainly when a hibernate query is fired in that operation. This application still working fine in WAS6.1 and when we try migrating it in WAS7.0 I am getting this error.
If you can give some hint it will be great.

Thanks a lot.

Counter = 28

I submitted July-08 and still waiting for the result. One of my friend submitted just in Sep first week and by end of the month he got his results. i dont know why in my case it is taking so many weeks. if anybody in the same situation. I followed up with Oracle and they just replied saying that it may take 2-3 weeks more.

Hi All,

I have already submitted my part2 and waiting to take up part3. Can anyone tell me what kind of preparation required for part3?
1. should the question be from only the submitted project or can be outside of it too?
2. how much big or short the answers could be ?
3. In general what all the areas or kind of preparation required for part3?

Thanks a lot.

Dear Ranchers,

I have the below questions with respect to Part -II.

1. I am using StarUML for all the diagrams. I could see the size of the diagrams comes really big if I see them in html with vertical and horizontal scroll bar. If I use width and height property for the image then it becomes little blurred and may be not clearly readable. I would like to know if there is any restruction like the html page should not have any scroll bars or size of the diagrams should not exceed some specific size? If you have any tips in reducing the size or something similar to make the html look better.

2. In StarUML I see the component diagram only supports the UML1.4 notation, is it Ok to use UML 1.4 specification or should we use only UML2.0 specification. I feel UML1.4 should be ok but I would like some feedback from some one experienced with this.

Thanks for the response in advance.

Dear All,

I created a new web account with Pearson VUE today. When I checked the History I don't see any previous certification details.
How many days would it take to see all my previous certification done with prometric in database of Pearson VUE?

I would like to register for part-III of scea and I afraid this non-availability of the previous history would be of any hindrance for the registration process.

can you please advice me on this?

Thanks a lot.
Hi All,

In the begining of the discussion it is mentioned that the instruction to create a new account in Pearson VUE would be informed shortly.

Is it available or when will it be available?
Is there any specific procedure that to be followed so that the prometric id is correctly linked to Pearson VUE database?

When Oracle makes such a transition they should properly give all the instruction also along. They should be doing this transition atleast after the deadline of Aug-1. They are making life more miserable.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Thanks a lot for the input. It would be very helpful for me.
Dear Ranchers,

I have a doubt about taking up part -III and submission of part-II.
when we will be able to take up part-III exam? should we need first upload part-II and then we will should takeup part-III exam?
Is there any rule of time limit between period we upload part-II and taking up of Part-III.
For example will I be able to take up Part-III exam with in 2-3 days after uploading part-II.

Can you please provide your inputs?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Thanks a lot jeanne. I will buy Part-II asap.
Dear Members,
I have already completed Part-I and in a hurry to complete the remaining parts(before August-1).

when going through the forum topics I could see that the assignment would contain some documentation section to explain the NFR, assumptions, Risks and mitigation and other topics.
Can anybody brief about in what format this has to be submitted I suppose it should be in word format. If it is the case then is there any specific sections that this document should contain or is there any standard structure that can be used for documentation of the proposed architecture.

Thanks a lot in advance for your valuable inputs.

Regards,
Jey
Dear Ranchers,

Its my day today, yes you got it right, I completed SCDJWS5.0 with 75%.
I really prepared well but the exam was also very lengthy and tough one.

I would like to thank Ivan for his excellent notes which is the driving force for me to take up the exam.
I based my preparations on Ivan's notes and at the same time I followed all the links in the notes too.
I went through lots of materials in google to understand some specific topics like UDDI & JAXR, Security and so on.

Already the WEB-INF/lib contains all the Spring fw jars and I checked thre is not duplication of these jars in glassfish lib folders.
still its the same stack trace.
