Hello,

I just developed a desktop application that connects to an Adobe component deployed on WebSphere Application Server. The application works fine on Rational Application Developer, but now i need to include it in a workflow application developed on Lotus Notes. So i created a Java Agent and tweaked the code to work on LN, but i get the following exception:

I'm no expert, and I'd appreciate any help.

Thank you

The only problem i'm facing is that from time to time the JDNI lookup fails!

Can you tell us how you know it fails? What happens? Do you get an error message?

To be honest I can't give you specific details cause i just restarted the server minutes ago, so it's working fine right now.
The way I used to determine that the lookup failed was by handling the exception and display for example "Lookup failed"
I'll post the message that the browser displays as soon as the application fail again
Thanks alot for helping

Hello, I'm using RAD 7.5 and connected to a remote WAS 7 Server.
I'm developing a Web Application that retrieves data from an SQL Server 2005. I already did set up the JDBC and i use the JNDI to connect.
So far everything is working GREAT!
The only problem i'm facing is that from time to time the JDNI lookup fails!
but as soon as i restart the server, everything works fine again!
I tried to figure the reason behind this problem but i couldn't!
Could anyone please help?!

I'm kinda new to this so I'd appreciate any help I can get.
I'm currently developing a web application on RAD 7.5.2 (on Windows XP) that gets data from a database on an SQL server.
The application is currently running fine on a local Tomcat server but I need to run it instead on a remote Websphere Application Server 7. The WAS is installed and configured correctly on Linux Suse and I successfully configured the connection on RAD (tested the connection and it was successful) and the server is started.
The problem is with publishing to the server, I get an error (attached) everytime I start the server and everytime I try to run a JSP on the server. Maybe I missed a step on connecting the RAD to the WAS that I didn't know of. All I did was create a new server on RAD and provide "Server's host name" which is the IP of the remote server, "Server runtime environment" which is default WAS v7 Stub, "RMI and SOAP ports", "User ID & Password" and finally the Application Server Name.
Could someone please help me?
