So nice to see ur reply, thanks.
>>you are using the "PUSH" technology.
yes i use the push method to send message content to the browser, so i have to hold the out put stream of the current response.
But how can i close the response? just close the output stream? Could u give me other ideas?
>>The problem "too many users connected the server" is caused by some other reasons.
Maybe it is not the problem with my code, but the with my server's connection settings. Now my web server's connection limitation is 10, say that when i hold the 10 response which is in use, then the web server will tell me "too many user in this site".
I am wondering that is there any performance problem using the push method to send message to browser?
Hope u can write down ur ideas, thanks

First i get the response object at the user connect to my servlet, then i will hold it for a period of time, and when the user is switch the page then i should close the response object.
What only can i do is to close the ServletOutputStream object from the response.
But the problem is that the connection between browser and web server is still alive, so when i refresh the page then the connection quickly up to the limitation of the setting of the web server, then browser will give me the error page: say that "There are too many people accessing the Web site at this time."
I want to close the connection between the browser and web server, can the servlet API support it? or how to set the web server to support it?
any reply is appreciated, thanks.

i want to download a attachfile from servlet, but now it only can download file which size is less than 20KB.
i don't know why
actually i use the InputStream got from the attach Part, but it tell me that the InputStream.available() is 0. when download a big file(about 200KB) it seams that is blocked.
i use the IMAP mail server, on POP3 mail server all is OK!
is there any difference between the two mail server on attach file? or incorrectly deploy IMAP server?
now can help me and give me a answer about the InputStream on NetWork, and why it blocked(just look like)?
any replay is appreciated, 3kx!

that is if i modify the dependent classes of the EJB then i will re-package the JAR or EAR file and re-depoly the BEAN?
is that so complex?any ways easily to modify the BEAN's dependent classes ?
hi gurus:
I work with EJB for a long time, and find that the classes that the Beans want to use must be contained in the same Bean's jar.Is this right?
And i think that the Bean's JAR should only contain the Bean Classes and nothing else.Should i set the proper classpath when i compile the Bean's Classes and package them? Thus the JAR maybe not contain the No-Bean's Classes.
hope give me some advice 3ks

now i set the -mx528m, then the query passed!
we query a table ,the result is almost 3000 records,at the same time there are 5 clients to call the bean to execute the query.
but every time we catch the OutOfMemoryError at runtime so what can we do with it and avoid the error,in depoly the bean or in programming the bean?
the memory of our PC is 528MB, is it not enough?

3kx a lot!
thanks a lot
i will read the artical later.
i am learning XP and interested in it.
so anybody have some idea about the TFD&Refactoring&Pattern?
thanks
