I was able to fix by wrapping the value for that cell in <html> and set the font color and <u> to underline it without needing to change the Renderer.

I have a JTable that by default highlights the selected row when clicked, this works for my but I wanted to change the color of the font for a column. I created a TableCellRenderer for this and it works, the problem is that now when you select the row everything is highlight except for the cell that has a custome Renderer. How can I listen and change that cell with the row?

I have a service that retieves an Employee object and a CheckIn object, both are POJO and straight forward. The Employee object returns everything like it should and the CheckIn drops the Integer field checkinID and the get/set methods for that field, I have no clue as to why this would happen. I am new to the webservice stuff and really stuck on this. I am posting the object and the bean, thanks for any insight that you can offer!

This is the object code:

I have some code that uses VerticalUI to create a vertical JLabel. The code works great after the program is running and you replace the panel with the JLabel, but before that replace the JLabel text is normal, the UI's paint method is not called when the JLabel is created. How can I force a paint() or create a JLabel with vertical text that will show the text vertical from the beginning, I have tried calling paint(this.getGraphics, this) and the graphics object is always null???

I have a JButton that I want to add a menu to, I was using a mouseClicked and listening for 1 or 2 clicks, 2 bringing up the menu. The problem is that this button fires a single click to quickly and it is hard to get a double click in. So I create an arrow icon to memic a drop down button, on mousePressed the menu pops up just as it should, however if the user just wanted to use the button ( a single click ) they are not able to do so because the mouse pressed fires and ignores the release. How can I determine if the user has simple pressed the button or are they holding the button to get the menu?

I have a program that is using JXMultiSplitPane in a JFrame, (left, middle, and right) on the right hand panel I have another multisplit (top, middle, bottom). I then have container JPanel that contains several small JPanels with JRadio buttons in them. This is the placed into a ScrollPanel and placed in the split (middle) on the right. When these are re sized using the divider the JPanels will re size just a little before the scroll bar pops and clip the last JRadioButton off. How can I stop these JPanels from resizing at all? I am setting the preferred, max, and min size with no luck.

Thanks

I have an that is using JXMultiSplitPane and I place several panels in a split pane to the right. I have the container panel added to a scroll pane and this fires when the split is adjusted however the JPanels that contain the JRadioButtons resize themselves slightly and cause the text of the radio buttons to clip? Is there a way to listen for this resize and some how adjust the TitleBorder size or something? I don't have the clipping when I create them with out the TitleBorder.

Thanks
