Hi i am trying to implement a spring backend to serve for GWT RPC calls.

So far i got this in backend:

The problem is, as soon as i do the request, the server returns: Method 'POST' not supported. Probably because the matching method cannot be found.
If i remove the @RequestBody annotations it will work, but the parameters (username, password) will be null.

Has anyone ever mentioned implementing such a service to work for GWT-RPCs?

GWT
maybe just set the scope of the bean, where the data is stored to RequestScoped or just set all values to null after saving the user

JSF
im not sure, but i think the url-pattern must contain the application name

I already did the interface and the implementation

and this:

But when i start my glassfish and deploy the application, i doesnt seam to work.
When i call the test - method with my client i always get 404-resource not found.

Did i forget to configure something?

GWT
Hi i am quite new to GWT and have now come to a point where id like to include server calls.
I already got familiar with RPC calls and am now able to receive data from the server.

Now i want to include hibernate in my project and am now looking for a good framework.
I am looking for something like JSF or Spring that will allow me an easy implementation of the Domain-Dao-Server structure.

Can anyone recommend a good framework for hibernate in GWT?

thanks in advance

This was actually a GWT question =)

Oh i forgot to mention that this should happen clientwise.
ImageIO is not supported by GWT.

Any idea how I could realise it clientwise? Or do I have to do it by sending a request to the server?

Hi, simple question.

I have a bmp image, which i'd like to load and then read the color values for each pixel and write it to an array.

does anybody know whether this is feasible?
