Under some of the objectives in the MZ notes he has written "1212". Is this a reference to something?
I have been using the DWR framework for using ajax. I think it is very easily understood. Are there disadvantages?

I am sure this has been asked a million times, BUT where is it explained about Greenhorns, Ranch Hands, Bartenders, etc.
Thanks,
Most appropriately a Greenhorn (I'm sure),

Karl,
Two questions, I have just about every servlet book on the market. How is your book different? the same? I appologize that I have not make a trip to the bookstore to check it out. And 2nd, how do you feel about struts? I am investing a lot of time one learning it and making it part of my company's projects. As a servlet guru, what do you think?
Thanks!

Kyle,
Sorry about the wrong forum
I have your book, but we just retooled to WAS 4 and WSAD. Any plans to create a 2nd edition or a new book?
Thanks
Mike
It is interesting that Mr. Gosling would use the travel industry as an example. We have been working on a web services type of solution before web services was sexy. The standards have been written and we are writing code.
A funny thing happened when we were making software decisions for the project; someone suggested Biztalk. I never questioned using anything but java.

Bill,
I enjoyed your Exam Cram book, Thanks! Are you or do you know of anyone who is working on a SCWCD book?
Thanks,

I took the test yesterday and passed with a 74%. I took the test once before last April and scored a 50%. The best recommendation I can make is this: believe the practice tests! If you can't pass them you can't pass the real thing. I used J@Whiz and JQPLus. Both are excellent. The last two tests I took with J@Whiz I scored in the 70's, just like my real score.
Many thanks to the authors of Mike Myer's passport certification book. After reading RHE, Exam Cram, and Mughal's book the Passport really helped me concentrate my knowledge.
I am primarily a web developer seeking a SCWCD, but needed to get through the SCPJ first.
