I had waited 4 months for my results

Hello all ranchers!

Today I have received long awaited email:

"Congratulations! You have passed the Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect certification. You are among the elite 1% of certified Java professionals who have gone on to achieve the Java Enterprise Architect certification."

I wanted to thank all the people on this forum preparing for this certification and sharing their experiences, it was together with the Cade's book the most valuable resource for this cert.

My assignment was 'Factory Homes', I did my diagrams in Cade's style (similar as in the book), no fancy stuff, few design patterns.

Once again thanks.

(anyone has some good ideas for next certifications? I have scjp, scbcd, scwcd and now ocmjea and I'm running out of ideas for self-development)

I haven't send it by email either, got an email only about some delays with checking assignments, thats all. Still waiting.....

I was trying to do the same about a month ago but with a 'voucher' option. At the end of the process it shows the error message, there are many posts regarding this on java ranch as I recall. You could register for part 3 before taking part 2 with Prometric, but with Person (unless something changed within last month) you cannot do that.

If you try to book the essay exam (part III) before you upload the assignment, the Person system will block you at the end of the booking process saying that you have to complete part II before registering for part III.

Interesting, I think I've heard that you shouldn't/cannot retake the exam once you pass it.
