Thanks Jeanne...I want to show certification knowledge according to my experience...thinking of starting with Basic SOA and then SOA solution Designer(dont know how difficult this certificate would be).
I have also worked on webservices, as per my knowledge SOA certifications is higher than WebService I may be wrong.

Hi,

I have around 10+ years of experience in java, j2ee. I have worked on Spring, Hibernate, EJB , JPA, Maven, Ant, SOA, Webservices, REST, JSF, JMS, JSP, Servlets, AJAX, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, Design Pattern etc...

From last 3.5 years working on support project, so not much hands on experience.

Thought of EJB, JSP/Servlet, WebService certification looks requires a lot of in detailed study with 9 hours of job.
Also this certifications has been done by our team members with very less experience. So, need better certification which is according to my experience.
At this experience thinking of starting with SOA study, C2160-669: SOA Fundamentals [2008] certification.

Should I go for it or any other alternatives or any other path to career, please suggest.

But I think the web page you mentioned "SCDJWS Links Page" is not the updated one. Could you please let me know 1-2 good books on web services j2ee version 5.
How about older RMH (2003 edition) book for version 5 exam and also I came thru other book "Java Web services UP and Running - Oreilly", any idea about this book?

I am going to prepare for web services certification version 5. Guys, Could you help in choosing the books? I found RMH book is popular in this forum, but I guess that is old (2003 edition with j2ee1.4) and would not cover the latest required SCDJWS/OCPJWSD Version 5 topics.

Certified mates, please provide useful books for understanding web services and also exam point of view.
