My task is to upload a file to a server connected through LAN.

Client IP - x.x.x.a
Server IP - x.x.x.b

The file gets uploaded in server's mysql database succesfully. But I want it in a folder in server instead. I'm confused how to specify the destination path then. Except that part the code works well.
(Ppl whoever tries to execute the code dnt forget to include JAR file for mysql while executing)

Hearty thanks in advance for quick assistance.

I have designed a Java program using swing , such that while pressing a button in the main window , a JFrame window appears. Actually while closing the JFrame window, i want it alone to be closed. But while closing the JFrame window my main window also gets closed. How can i avoid this?

This is my coding.

i have created an Image button and didnt know how to identify the button clicks by the user..
when i use getSource() method am receiving exception...

If it is a normal button we'll be checking the button text...If it is a image button without any text what should be checked to determine the button clicked..? am confused...!

@Tim Moores : Am sorry, its JDBC...

@Jesper de Jong, @Rob Spoor : No am running Mysql in the same computer... i have created a connection in the Mysql Administrator with the host name "jeyasri-desktop"... changing it into localhost also results the same... i once read in a forum that the IP address may also be a problem for it..it said there are case where the default IPaddress to be 127.0.0.1... while creating connection Mysql Administrator showed the IP address as 192.168.1.2... am i supposed to set this somewhere ?
