Could anyone please share the Hardening guidelines for Oracle IPlanet 7.0.20 web server

I am working on it, Will provide the solution soon.

Yes I have two managed servers which are configured in horizontal clustering.

Last two times when I tried to restart the two managed servers, I am getting the errors which I shared earlier. Other than these errors I am not seeing any errors related to hostname.

First machine on which managed server 1 is hosted, 59% disk space is used. And on second machine on which managed server is hosted, 93 % is used.

FYI. When ever I will face this issue, If I do the compete domain restart including node managers and Admin server, issue is getting resolved.

Hi All,

Approximately after 1 month I have tried to stop and start the weblogic server, but while starting the weblogic server it is throwing the below error and getting shutdown.

By using derby database under common folder, we can configure datasource for weblogic.
Did you updated the new IP address in all related files of nodemanager.

Still if issue is not resolved, Try to start node manger by changing from SSL to PLAIN mode.

Hi All,

Recently in our new environment, we got out of memory and perm gen errors while doing deployment on weblogic server. I have taken heap dump using jmap command.

After that incresed the heap size from 1GB to 2GB and perm gen size from 512m to 640m. And then taken restart of weblogic instance and after that deployed application succesfully.

After analying the heap dump using IBM memory analyzer tool, foundt the following classloader errors in analyzer console.

Did anyone faced this kind of issue in your environment and if possible kindly let me know how to prevent this kind of issues in future.

If you have configured the domain in horizontal clustering, there will be config.xml and other dependent files available on second machine. Using that files we can recreate the domain with the same configuration.

To recover serializedini.dat, Refer the document ID 958900.1 from Oracle Support.

When multicast buffer is full, you need to check the same with your network team.

Thanks

Hi All,

In our pre-production environment, when we are trying to delete the websphere application servers using dmgr console throwing the following error in console

"An error occurred while deleting the server. ADMG0011E: An unexpected exception occurred com.ibm.websphere.management.exception.AdminException: Exception in removeTargetFromCUs().. Try to delete the server again. If the error persists, see the problem determination on the WebSphere Application Server Support Web page on http://www.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/was/support/." "

I have stopped all node agents and taken stop/start of DMGR and post starting node agents also Iam not able to delete the App servers through DMGR console. Kindly suggest in which cases we will get the above error and help me in deleting the app servers . Is there any other way to delete was app servers.

Hi All,

Iam not able to access the application on managed server MS1.

I found that MS1.out log file size of managed server is increased to 2.5 GB and is not updating since 3 days, but access logs are updating. So I taken the backup of log file and restarted the managed server. After restarting when I tried to access the application, getting 404 error.
While starting the managed server, I found the following error in logs

Six months before we increased from 1 JVM to 2 JVMs and increased the heap size to resolve the internal server error kind of issue. After that we are getting this the same 500 internal server error again.

Kindly could anyone share the suggestions on above.

Thanks
Krishna
