Hi,

I dont know whether this is the right thread to put this question up or not. If not, Admin - please move this query to the right thread.

Im trying to load an applet using Object tag in a jsp. Applet is located in a jar and the required resources for that applet are located in a single jar. The resources jar contains 10 jars approx. required to load the applet. I was able to load the applet if i give all the jars. but was unsuccessful if i make all the resources in to single jar. Here is the code sample that is working

This code is not working

Hi,

I dont know if this is the right forum to post a question about iText API. I coudn't find any relevant forum for iText to post in, so I am posting here.

I am unable to display Japanese currency symbol 'Yen' in my pdf using iText 3.0 jar. I am currently using Adobe reader 7.0.0 to view the pdf. Here is the code snippet im using to display value,

DecimalFormat df = (DecimalFormat) NumberFormat.getCurrencyInstance("ja_JP");
String finalValue = df.format("¥1,000");
PdfPCell cell = new PdfPCell(new Paragraph(finalValue, font));

Euro, Pound, Dollar and some other symbols were displayed fine. But for Yen it just shows a number without any currency symbol.

I tried using Java source code "\u00A5" and it is displaying Yen symbol properly in pdf. So, i guess there is a problem with the way i use iText libraries. Please help me with this.

Phani

Hi,
Im looking for a way to achieve hot code replacement of xml files. Here im not talking about configuration files like struts-config.xml or web.xml. Im talking about user defined xml files, which i parse using digester. Generally if i make any change to the xml files i have to undeploy it, rebuild using ant tool and redeploy it. Im currently using JBOSS IDE for Eclipse 2.0.

Thanks in advance.
