SUMMARY

This position primarily focuses on developing our new Java based web application, Repair Status, which allows body shops and insurance carriers to keep their customers informed on the status of their repair process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Hollander is currently seeking a seasoned Sr. QA Analyst for Plymouth/Minneapolis, MN.

Summary
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst’s role is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and
measures for products and services created by Hollander. This individual will also gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This will include writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development. The senior QA Analyst will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate software processes through careful testing in order to create products of the highest quality and standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and establish quality assurance procedures for all applications, products, and services and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create reports, recommendations, and alternatives that address existing and potential problem areas in products, systems, and services.
• Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications.
• Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing and potential issues.
• Collaborate with software personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
• Make recommendations for improvements of applications to programmers and software developers or engineers.
• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
• Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
• Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.
• Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices.

EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
• 7+ years of QA experience.
• 5+ years of Test automation experience.
• 3+ Load testing experience.
• 2 years of Lead experience.
• Create test plans, strategies and test cases and define/document testing process to be followed.
• Determine performance and scalability testing for each applicable system.
• Design, implement and train respective team members on appropriate testing methodologies, and test automation.
• Determine performance and scalability testing for each applicable system.
• Worked with one or more automation tools: QTP, WinRunner, Rational Robot, Ranorex UI, Testpartner, MSTest, and CodedUI.
• Has basic coding experience with one of the following languages: VBscript, C, C++, C#, VB, Java
• Any experience with TDD and BDD is a plus.
• Install, configure, document, and provide training on any necessary Quality Assurance tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodology.
• Requires practical understanding of continuous integration (CI) process and best practices.
• Ability to accurately establish the length and difficulty of tasks and projects and set reasonable objectives, anticipate and adjust for problems/roadblocks and measure results against goals.
• Ability to perform special assignments as requested.
• Ability to perform and orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the company both verbally and in writing.
