Well he did mention:

Unfortunately I only just started looking for jobs, but if you're still looking for programmers I'd be interested. I only recently got familiar with jQuery when working on my latest project, check it out: innategamer.tk/videolooper

I don't have all of the requirements that you mention though, but I learn fast and I'm not asking for you to pay for it. Just pay me for what I do and let me worry about the hard work of learning new things as I go.

Do you mean kickstarter?

I just figured out where to find tons of cheap artists, or rather I googled and found some information: deviantart and newgrounds. I actually new about deviant art before, I spend a lot of time on that site, but I didn't remember/realize that it would be a good place to find artists.

But I wonder, is it easy to find serious people out there? So far I've contacted about a dozen people and written some forum posts looking for people, and the two people so far who've been interested in my idea have seemed immature and crazy. One of them wanted me to join some money making scheme where you post posts and make thousands of dollars each month, and the other suggested that ignoring obvious flaws in a stupid idea he had that he wanted me to do with him was somehow negative or something. My point is 2 out of 2 people who've been interested so far were crazy/immature, am I attracting the wrong people here? Why isn't any people I contact even answering my emails.

I'm doing things in the wrong way, I'm certain of that. And I really don't wanna waste time on making a Matlab clone since there already is a freeware Matlab clone out there that looks quite spiffy. So I should be doing something more akin to the things you see on softwareforkids.com, seems like I'm looking for someone who knows pedagogy, someone who knows art, someone who knows how to make interactive kids stories. I think I'm incoherent or something, oh well, I always admired "special" people, time to become one (*snapping*)

But wait a moment, the internet is huge, could it really be that I'm the only unemployed guy who's looking for other unemployed people in order to do a product together? Thanks for the responses so far btw, I appreciate them. Wait, I just realized something, whenever I hear about other people's "good ideas" I figure they're just naïve (how many words are there in our language with an ï in it?) and I disregard them.

Oh, and one more thing that I havn't figured out yet, does anyone know of a place where I can chat with people who make books for kids?

I didn't say without a contract, but yeah I know it's hard to find people. I've almost completed my LALR(1) parser generator, I only stopped working on it because I was depressed and started doubting whether it was the right track towards revenue. I'll finish it and make a simplistic parser, upload it to my blog, and maybe then. But while I'm working, it might still take a day or two, I wonder if that would increase my chances of getting people who are interested in the project? See now I'm starting to doubt again.

I’m unemployed, so I’m looking for other unemployed people for an educational software project, either something like Matlab, or perhaps something geared towards a younger audience: http://www.softwareforkids.com/children-software/math.html

I have tried to look for work, but it's too hard. I am a good programmer, but I don't have a degree and I never got any job experience. I've just done projects of my own, mostly unsuccessful either because I don't have artistic skills, or because I don't know how to market something, or because I'm just trying to do something too hard. So instead of trying to find a job I decided to try to find other unemployed people, someone with experience in teaching might be a good idea and someone with experience in programming, the later just because I don't wanna be alone. Also I had no idea how to market software, but I'm beginning to get the picture Amazon, softwareforkids and so on. Someone who has some artistical talent or something like that would be necessary.

How can I find all these people, and how can I find the right people? Where are all the unemployed people? Should I post job posts? But it's not exactly a job, what I'm looking for is people who want to work on their free time, like me, and share any profit equally.
